How to save Sonic the Hedgehog
destructoid.com — He needs to be saved. I think he can be saved. I have to believe he can be saved, damn it! I'm going to try and help. While some of these points will be fairly obvious, hopefully I can also make a few that haven't been discussed much. Regardless, Sonic Team needs to know them. This is my humble guide to the salvation of our beloved hedgehog.

EDIT: also buried as destructoid copying/plagiarizing from the original post.- Loornadune, on 03/23/2008, -21/+2So, after going through your diggs(searching for Sonic, I'm not that thorough), I noticed that you hadn't dugg anything like this article. Ass.
Also, ho the ***** would digg this retard up?- Hayaemsay, on 03/23/2008, -11/+12You don't have to digg something to recognize it as a duplicate...

it's not exactly the same but some of the titles are similar and have some of the same points but it's not copy and pasted.- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -1/+2I think the author was on 4chan last night and reading the sonic thread I was in. As I said last light (whether or not he was listening), to make an epic sonic game they have to 1. Make it 2D 2. Slow sonic down and 3. Put him in gigantic levels with multiple paths and lots of platforming.
I also saw a couple screen shots of a new sonic game where he looks a lot like the old Sonic on Genesis/MD where his legs are shorter, he's not scowling and instead he's smiling like he was when Steve Urkel was the voice actor, and shots of a classic style 2D loop-de-loop.

- SiliconRain, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1He'd better not mean that article - it's the complete opposite of this one. It makes almost no valid points, and is just plain wrong on a bunch of things.
No wonder this guys is buried -50 if he thinks any two articles with Sonic in the title must be dupes. - wardrox, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1You buried it for copy/pastering AND for being a dupe? Hit the fail-sauce a little hard last night eh?
I guess you didn't read the article before commenting, shame on you tbh. - LucasVB, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Nobody cares.
And, actually, this article is the only good thing ever to come from Destructoid. Agreed and dugg.

Oh Sonic...how far you've fallen...- Tr33fiddy, on 03/23/2008, -8/+2Save Sonic... hmm... I'd still rather not.
- EGOvoruhk, on 03/23/2008, -15/+4It's not like he fell far. Maybe I wasn't as big of a SEGA fanboy as whoever wrote this, but I don't remember any of the Sonics being all that great. He references New Super Mario Bros, and gives it props for keeping it simple like the old Mario, but all the old Sonics kept it too simple. It's like Mario, only everything seems gigantic, to help you out. You only have one power up, which you can't get into you're well into the games. There's only one way to beat a level. So on and so forth. Maybe it's just me, but I would have no problem keeping Sonic as a nostalgic memory that I never want to revisit, for fear that it might not be as good as I remember
- dekuscrub, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1Exactly! Sonic games have not aged well IMO. They were fun when I was 12, but now, going back to them, ouch.
- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1seriously? I play them several times a week, and they're still awesome..
- SiliconRain, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4"You only have one power up, which you can't get into you're well into the games. There's only one way to beat a level"
Those are the words of someone who has almost zero knowledge of any Sonic game. The 8 and 16-bit Sonic games were far less linear than their Mario counter-parts. And I don't know what the hell you're talking about with 'only one power up'...
(glad to see that, two decades on, fanboys are still ready to give each other bloody noses over this...) - ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Running shoes, super sonic, hyper sonic, fire shield, lightning shield, bubble shield. 1 power-up? sure.
- dekuscrub, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1Exactly! Sonic games have not aged well IMO. They were fun when I was 12, but now, going back to them, ouch.
- sephiroth4, on 03/23/2008, -8/+2Loose the over the top attitude/cool. As far as games, just get back to pure speed. Have that fool strap up with Space/Planet Harriers or race the Afterburner jet. LOOSE THE FRIENDS!
- Sibre, on 03/23/2008, -2/+1Lose the extra 'o' in 'Loose' and you've got it right.
- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1no. not pure speed, one of the great things about the sonic games (especially sonic 3 and knuckles) is the awesome platforming, as well as speed.
- Strikersgun, on 03/23/2008, -2/+0Sonic has fallen low yes but he will never die at least not for me
- rentmitchum, on 03/23/2008, -4/+3Where's your blast processing now! Hahahahaha!!!!
/i was a nintendo guy during the war- sovietninja, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2Still waiting for that Sony made cd attachment eh?
- GuitaristTom, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6I disagree with a lot of it... sonic adventure was my favorite because of the intricate plot... and anyone who says it wasn't must have missed a lot of chaos's past... but personally i think the best game would be one like adventure with better mini games, and levels designed for 3d side scrolling with the occasional 3rd person view from behind... they just need to learn camera placement and they can achieve speed and problem solving... also, there needs to be less levels that have a huge gaping hole as the bottom... the original sonic was basically like 3 different paths, split vertically, and only the lowest one allowed for death by falling
- themastersb, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8My biggest peeve is when people call Dr. Robotnik Dr. Eggman instead
- SiliconRain, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6Seems they've actually changed it for good now. Maybe they thought a big fat guy with a mustache called Robotnik was going to offend east-Europeans...
'Eggman' is the worst name for a bad guy ever.- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0Eggman is the translation of what he was called in Japan the whole time, sad but true.
- SiliconRain, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6Seems they've actually changed it for good now. Maybe they thought a big fat guy with a mustache called Robotnik was going to offend east-Europeans...
- MonsieurShak, on 03/23/2008, -3/+77"Cream the Rabbit, Big the Cat, Silver the Hedgehog, Bollocks the Badger, Registered Sex Offender the Anteater, it's endless and shameless."
Registered Sex Offender the Anteater... that was hilarious. And yeah, I totally agree, Sonic really sucks nowadays. It needs a resurrection with the quality of Mario Galaxy to retain any credibility now... and that won't happen any time soon.
On a side note, isn't Sonic Team Sega's flagship studio? Why are they so *****?- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -0/+27I couldn't agree with this and #4 more.
Silver the Hedgehog? Eggman? ***** that. We don't need more ***** characters that suck (and are INCREDIBLY formulaic...Shadow is a lone wolf/has an attitude, Silver is all about intellect, etc.). Keep it simple stupid. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Robotnik. DONE! This is the one major thing that has pissed me off since day 1.
You don't see Mario introducing new characters do you? NO. Because the old ones are iconic now. Everyone knows who ***** Luigi, Peach, etc. are or can at least recognize them.- dualscreenman, on 03/23/2008, -2/+11Eggman == Robotnik. Localization changed the name when Sonic Adventure was translated into English.
But yeah, screw all these extra buffoons. - Sibre, on 03/23/2008, -20/+1Am I the only one who read that and asked the question at the end: "Really? Who is ***** Luigi?"
- MasterChief4134, on 03/23/2008, -0/+11Yes.
- celkin, on 03/23/2008, -3/+1needs moar Weegee
- sarixe, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1i am. he's soooooooo good...
- SKick, on 03/23/2008, -0/+30Mario's team isn't completely immune to criticism. Don't forget about good 'ole Waluigi.
- sovietninja, on 03/23/2008, -2/+5And Daisy.
- DukeMojo, on 03/24/2008, -0/+3Daisy actually has some seniority.
- Shaflugi, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5Mario does introduce new characters from time to time, but at least the majority of the time, they have the decency to make them one-shot characters, like the star guys and princess-whats-her-face from Mario Galaxy.
- Konstantino, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Actually, Mario games introduce new characters quite frequently. The difference is they usually are only purposed for that one game. Think some of the guys from Paper Mario who join your party, or that new princess in Galaxy.
- StarlessKnight, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Toadstool, her name was Toadstool! God help us, we'll find the Princess, Peach, in a can some day once Bowser gets really irked.
- DukeMojo, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4Bowser? You mean King Koopa right?
- dualscreenman, on 03/23/2008, -2/+11Eggman == Robotnik. Localization changed the name when Sonic Adventure was translated into English.
- roflbrothel, on 03/23/2008, -0/+30"On a side note, isn't Sonic Team Sega's flagship studio? Why are they so *****?"
Have you looked at Sega lately? It's not just Team Sonic that's lost pretty much all credibility.- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -1/+2Yeah, the most promising Sonic game coming out is being done by Americans and Canadians. I've said this before, if Japan want's to make a good game, they hand it to North America.
- linuxrocks2007, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5You mean Sega Japan would hand the game to North America. Most other Japanese companies (such as Nintendo, Konami, Capcom etc.) know how to make a great game.
- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -1/+2Yeah, the most promising Sonic game coming out is being done by Americans and Canadians. I've said this before, if Japan want's to make a good game, they hand it to North America.
- Culyt, on 03/23/2008, -1/+3Sonic has always had a whole heap of mostly ignored side characters made for one or 2 games. Stuff like the 32x game (that console that plugged into the megadrive that never took off)
What would really save it, is to remake the old games exactly the same but with 3D graphics (But 2D movement).
Personally the best sonic game was Sonic CD, also Sonic & Knuckles (with 3 in it)- solid12345, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3It was worth owning a Sega CD just for Sonic CD, screw the critics the system was a good add-on and DID have a decent library.
- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -0/+27I couldn't agree with this and #4 more.
- Mackofalltrades, on 03/23/2008, -5/+13Dugg for the picture.
- DiggityDugged, on 03/23/2008, -5/+100How to save Sonic? Throw him into the Super Smash Bros. cast. If that doesn't save him, nothing will. I gave up on Sonic after his first 3D game.

- ncapone, on 03/23/2008, -0/+38He's not that bad in Smash Bros, actually. He just needs some of his old move back, like the Insta-Shield instead of 3 different spinning attacks.
- ireland88, on 03/23/2008, -2/+1yeah he is ok but he could be better in that game to
- jamesov89, on 03/23/2008, -5/+4too*
- AmICoolNow, on 03/23/2008, -2/+19Actually, Sonic Adventure (his first 3D one) was a great game. The sequels after that started to get worse, though.
- Melenor, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Well really, his first 3D game was aptly titled Sonic 3D Blast, for Genesis and Saturn. It was pseudo-3D, of course, but it worked. It wasn't very good though.
- damentz, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Not to mention hard as *****.
- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2and laggy.
- Shaflugi, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5Indeed, Sonic Adventure was fun, but it was buggy as *****, and it was only fun when you were playing as Sonic or Tails. Fishing and shooting in Sonic? Wtf?
- SiliconRain, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5Sonic Adventure was fun, but had plenty of ***** bits. I just assumed they would realize the errors of their ways and get rid of the ***** bits (terrible camera, retarded tagged-on characters, humans in the story, digging levels, voice acting with the worlds worst actors etc etc etc) for the next time.
Instead, they seemed to just emphasis the ***** and remove the bits that made it fun. How can a team of professional game designers get it so wrong? Come back Yuji Naka! - GeneralFailure0, on 03/24/2008, -1/+1Agreed, Sonic Adventure 2 was horrible. I remember how disappointing it was to learn that the fun Sonic (or Shadow, whatever, same thing) levels only made up about a third of the game and that for the rest of the time I was stuck in either the lame Tails shoot stuff levels or the sad excuse for gameplay which was finding chaos emeralds playing the "am I getting warmer?" game. I shouldn't have to deal with that much crap to run through some loops quickly.
- Pxtl, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1I tried playing that. The first level was fun. Then I went looking for the second level. And looking... and looking... and said "bugger this" and went back to playing PowerStone 2.
- Melenor, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Well really, his first 3D game was aptly titled Sonic 3D Blast, for Genesis and Saturn. It was pseudo-3D, of course, but it worked. It wasn't very good though.
- ikrit2006, on 03/23/2008, -1/+10I enjoyed the first Sonic dreamcast game...

- Divals, on 03/23/2008, -46/+2Buried for refusal to acknowledge Eggman as superior over Robotnik.
- Culex, on 03/23/2008, -2/+22Because no matter what it is, the Japanese version is always better. Period.
oh Internet...- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -2/+5It's sad how that rule no longer applies.
- gregulate, on 03/23/2008, -1/+21Dr. Robotnik > Eggman.
Robotnik had that kick ass giant robot mech suit in the end of Sonic 2, AND that sweet death star egg space station deal that crashed in the beginning of Sonic & Knuckles.- Divals, on 03/23/2008, -4/+1I meant the name, not the character. Of course the old one's better, they just called him the wrong name.
So Eggman had the kick ass giant robot suit at the end of Sonic 2, and the Death Egg.- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -1/+0Whatever, but still eggman is just a horrible name. Robotnik is probably a crappy name also, but who gives a ***** that's how we damn well like it.
- Divals, on 03/23/2008, -4/+1I meant the name, not the character. Of course the old one's better, they just called him the wrong name.
- Myonosken, on 03/24/2008, -1/+3I'm guessing this is a point of contention in the Sonic community. Whatever, Robotnik obviously wins because Eggman sounds like some sort of perverted rapist.
- Culex, on 03/23/2008, -2/+22Because no matter what it is, the Japanese version is always better. Period.
- Johnny1337h4x0r, on 03/23/2008, -3/+8I agree with just about everything in this article, but I do have to say that the DS versions were just about everything I would want from a Sonic game. The only problems I had with them were the "story lines" and cream. I didn't think it was possible to make a more annoying character than Tails (but we know deep in our hearts we all love him), but then they come out with cream who when opens her mouth your ears start to bleed.
- bagelmaster, on 03/23/2008, -1/+12That's one of the biggest problems with the new sonics... they have story lines. I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure no one gave two ***** about the story in Sonic 1, 2 3 and Sonic and Kunckles. And they were great games. Ditch the stupid ass stories Sega.
- ronoxQ, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Agreed.
I'd much rather have a generic Mario story every game (like happens now) than have to struggle through the ***** developers try to stick in. I play this stuff for the GAMEPLAY, Sega. I READ when I want a story.
- ronoxQ, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Agreed.

- Berkana, on 03/23/2008, -1/+54Sonic the hedgehog has been immortalized by having an enzyme named after him. Initially, I thought it was a joke when I saw serious medical journals referring to an enzyme as sonic hedgehog, but apparently, this is for real:

- MorphineJim, on 03/23/2008, -5/+147Ignoring the retard comments, let me just say that, as the writer, I gathered it wasn't going to be a wholly original piece, but I tried to put an original spin on it. I didn't know a similar article had hit Digg, otherwise ... well, I still will have written it -- just because someone picked the same subject, that doesn't exclude other people from using it now, does it? Burger King doesn't not have customers just because McDonald's do burgers too.
People need to learn the definition of the word "plagiarism" before throwing it around so casually.
(oh, and thanks for the Diggs, people who aren't being rubbish).- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -1/+25If you truly are the author, you deserve a medal. Hope you don't mind, but I'm sending this link in an email to the Sonic Team (not that it'll prolly do anything, but hey, worth a shot).
- Zwartbaard, on 03/23/2008, -3/+1Hej I was just wondering did you ever play Sonic Adventure 2? Amusing article nonetheless.
- Aokitsune, on 03/23/2008, -1/+2I love that article's style. It's all very true, and hopefully we'll see better days for our once great hedgehog. I loved Sonic games back in the day, same as Mario, it's too bad that one has fallen by the wayside in contemporary gaming- changes definitely need to happen for Sonic to recover.
Any revisiting of Sonic in 3D should carefully look at what works (think Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie) and what doesn't (most every 3D Sonic game apparently- I actually missed out on playing them)- cheaptricks, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1I can't wait for Banjo-Kazooie 3.
- requiem3, on 03/23/2008, -0/+0I really have to disagree with the keep sonic 2D thing...Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 kicked ass(although a few drawbacks), I'm sure they could refine that to make sonic perfectly 3D.
I have to say though, I was very glad you mentioned the whole Dr. Robotnik thing, its not even a f*cking insult to call him "Eggman" anymore if his name has now become Dr. Eggman. So stupid... - Shaflugi, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3The only time I've actually seen Sonic work in 3D is when fans were involved. There's a pretty fun one called Sonic Robo Blast 2 that uses the DooM engine (yeah, really), and FPS style controls (again, yeah, really). It controls and plays surprisingly well, and has co-op and deathmatch and whatnot. If anybody wants some of the classic Sonic aspects in 3D, check it out: http://www.srb2.org.
- Shaflugi, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Whoops, broke the link. http://www.srb2.org
- Wade, on 03/23/2008, -2/+28If you want to save Sonic the Hedgehog you best have a ***** time machine in tow.
- cave, on 03/23/2008, -3/+14Just... make it 2d again. And not that retarded 3d on 2d plane crap that's been catching on lately, do it in HD 2D like the new KOF game that's coming out. (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/30832.html)
Sonic works much better as a cartoon. What the hell happened the the games industry, did they suddenly fire everyone that can draw at once?- piratemonkey182, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8I think they can make the 3D work if they try hard enough. It worked for Super Mario 64, it can work for Sonic.
- linuxrocks2007, on 03/23/2008, -0/+7Sonic Hedgehog Galaxy? Probably more nauseous than Cloverfield.
- piratemonkey182, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8I think they can make the 3D work if they try hard enough. It worked for Super Mario 64, it can work for Sonic.
- ursername180, on 03/23/2008, -1/+98Some I would have placed on the list...
1. Bring back the Badniks - The enemies in the new Sonic games aren't very imaginative. They're mainly crappy robots that look the same. In the classic Sonic games, there were robotic wasps, robotic dinosaurs, robotic fish and even robotic chickens.
2. Bring back the surreal worlds - Places such as Mushroom Hill Zone and Sky Sanctuary weren't the sort of things you saw in every day life. We don't want to see cities and humans when playing Sonic games. We want to see places that are easily remembered because of their recognizable environments.
3. Bring back the stage themes - I remember that you used to be able to tell what type of levels there'd be in a Sonic game. There were the lush, green zones; the lava zones; the ice zones; the water zones; the space zones and the doomsday zones. Now all of a sudden we have places that aren't clearly defined.
4. Don't try to be cool - JUST DON'T!
5. Super Sonic isn't just limited to the last zone - In the past, Sonic could transform into Super Sonic once getting 50 rings. Now all of a sudden, he can only change on the last level! Why? Half of the replay value came from zooming through zones in a matter of seconds because you could run super fast. Not only that, but whatever happened to Hyper Knuckles and Turbo/Super Tails?
[/rant]- childprey, on 03/23/2008, -2/+8"Super Sonic isn't just limited to the last zone - In the past, Sonic could transform into Super Sonic once getting 50 rings"
if you have all the chaos emeralds, so needs to be pretty late game anyway.- dualscreenman, on 03/23/2008, -0/+9In Sonic 3 (and Knuckles) you can get all the emeralds by Marble Garden zone, leaving you half the game with Super Sonic if you're playing Sonic 3 and 75% of the game if you have Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
- SonicAD, on 03/24/2008, -0/+3By Hydrocity Act 2, actually. I'm guessing you're missing a ring in that level, since all of the ones in Angel Island are more obvious.
- Travelsonic, on 03/23/2008, -1/+10In Sonic & Knuckles, I had Super Sonic by Mushroom Hill Zone act 2 - that is not by any stretch of the imagination late in the game.
- dualscreenman, on 03/23/2008, -0/+9In Sonic 3 (and Knuckles) you can get all the emeralds by Marble Garden zone, leaving you half the game with Super Sonic if you're playing Sonic 3 and 75% of the game if you have Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
- SKick, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5I think many of today's games could benefit from suggestion 2, especially Sonic.
- Texmurphy01, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8This 'don't be cool' thing applies across more games than just this. Did anyone see Advent Children? Seriously.
Also, shoot the ***** bands out of a canon and get someone in who can actually make Sonic music. I don't object to 3D, since SA and SA2 were good, but after that......... - Ipwnyou, on 03/24/2008, -0/+36. Bring back Sonic "ball" jumps - I miss the old Sonic that turned into a ball when he jumped, not the one who does a flip or two when he jumps.

- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -2/+14Oh dear God I hope that video's legit.
- MikeXpop, on 03/23/2008, -2/+11Honestly, that looked like a whole lot more of "hold the analog stick for 2 hours". The only difference is it's 2.5D, so you're holding it to the right instead of up.
And I *really* hope that was an early build of the physics engine. Those jumps and accelerations looked so unnatural (compared to other sonic games)- BenKenobi88, on 03/23/2008, -3/+7Yeah, because you didn't hold right in the old Sonic games either...
- Shaflugi, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3At least you had to turn around and jump from time to time, as well as spindash to gain speed, instead of always relying on speed pads all over the place.
- BenKenobi88, on 03/23/2008, -3/+7Yeah, because you didn't hold right in the old Sonic games either...
- Nidy1, on 03/23/2008, -6/+5*Sigh* looks like more of the same speed crap and no innovation. As was said, sonic isn't just about speed.
- djSyndrome, on 03/23/2008, -3/+11And yet the moment raw speed was taken out of the equation (post Sonic-Adventure 2), Sonic went to *****.
- Sairgem, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2Have you gone back and played the original sonic games lately? They weren't very fast. At least those had things you had to jump over and under. Despite what some idiots may claim, it wasn't just hold right until you reach the end of the level, which this looks like.
- djSyndrome, on 03/23/2008, -3/+11And yet the moment raw speed was taken out of the equation (post Sonic-Adventure 2), Sonic went to *****.
- TomRemixed, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1The music seems pretty good compared the stuff I've heard in the latest games. Looks kinda like they are doing the whole 2D plane but 3D graphics thing.
- PixelEater, on 03/23/2008, -3/+1Buried. You understand this article was partially prompted by this game, right? Hence the inclusion of the screenshot?
- Strikersgun, on 03/23/2008, -1/+0any faster and its no longer a sonic game its a mind test game to see how fast ur reaction time is
- undyboy91, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2wow...digg broke the link and it still worked
- Philbert, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1That looks pretty good, but it still looks like you're locked to a "track". One thing that I loved about the old 2D games was that there were various paths you could take. So I get some rings, but I also know there's a whole mess of rings above me so I back track some and take a different route to get those. It needs to be more free-roaming. If they could take Sonic CD and make a little longer / more challenging and give it killer graphics i would be thrilled. They could even keep the same SCD music, I'm listening to my Tidal Tempest Zone (Past) MP3 right now!
- supremesonic, on 03/23/2008, -1/+20Even with me being a massive Sonic fan, I have to agree. Especially with the "No new characters" thing... I have a dangerously irrational hatred of Shadow, for instance. DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE NOOOOOOOOO MARIA!
- LucasVB, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1It's not "irrational", I'll tell you that.
- Myonosken, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Mariiiiiiiiiiiiiaaa. You've gotta see her ~
Actually you don't in this case.
- antiorblkflag9, on 03/23/2008, -7/+6Bioware FTW
- tehstapl0r, on 03/23/2008, -1/+7The old games were really focused on quick reactions, such as spikes coming up from the ground, random spring walls, etc. Not holding up on the analog stick for an hour and then hearing "All right! That's the diggity, homie!"
- Philbert, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1"All right! That's the diggity, homie!" LOL
- tehrich, on 03/23/2008, -3/+61Am I the only one that likes Tails?
- djSyndrome, on 03/23/2008, -0/+58No, but pretty much everyone after Knuckles has been completely unnecessary.
- netdroid9, on 03/23/2008, -0/+17You wouldn't if you'd heard the voice actor he(?) got for Sonic Heroes. *Shudder*
- albinoMithos, on 03/23/2008, -0/+11I liked tails before they gave him a voice in the games.....and then there was that crap they pulled with tails in Sonic Adventure 2......
- TomRemixed, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6I freakin' wanted to be Knuckles back in 1st grade and yes I was a stupid kid.
- jgtg32a, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4I started cracking my knuckles in 1st grade because my grandma told me that if I kept cracking my knuckles I would get something called arthritis and they would get big.
- Jaryd2006, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6Ive always loved Tails. I always played as Tails. Even got to be hyper Tails. Maybe its cuz I share his name. (His first name is my Middle name)
- sovietninja, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Dangerous?
/sarcasm- Philbert, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Miles right? Do I get a cookie?
- sovietninja, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Dangerous?
- TheKarmaPolice, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6i always liked sonic, tails, and knuckles. after that i gave up on them.
- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0No, Sonic tails and Knuckles are all awesome (or, were awesome) all the newer characters suck.
- SolidSnak, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2Who couldn't love Miles Tails Prower?
- Pxtl, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1He was fine until he got a voice, and a last name, and all the wierd machines he built. He was fine when he was just the little flying fox named Tails who followed Sonic around. When they made him into a character, he sucked, badly.
Which, to me, highlights the problem: the problem with the Sonic characters is that they're terribly written characters, and that they're always coupled to an exceptionally lame game that doesn't stand up to the main gamemode. If you made a Sonic game where they had all the stupid friends, but they all just ran really fast but had a few extra powers, I don't think anybody would complain.
- smek2, on 03/23/2008, -22/+2First of, get a life. And secondly,
"He is not Dr. Eggman. I don't care what Japan calls him." -- Too bad that Japan is the country where Sonic originated from. Japan basically gave you your little videogame icon, you care about so much with nostalgic love and which inspired you to write this little composition school test.- Travelsonic, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8Trolls have lives?
- Shadic, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6I like how to say "Get a life," and at the same time, tell us where the name origins of a villain in a video game that's 17 years old.
- chriszilla445, on 03/23/2008, -0/+41"So far, only one character introduction has worked, because Knuckles the Echidna was the *****."
Indeed, Knuckles was the *****.- YamiJim, on 03/23/2008, -1/+9unlike sonic , he doesn't chuckle.
- Rice, on 03/23/2008, -0/+10He would rather flex his muscles.
- LegendarySock, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3So fasten your belt buckles...
- sovietninja, on 03/23/2008, -3/+3C-C-C-C-COMBOBREAKER!!!!!!!!!!!

- Rice, on 03/23/2008, -0/+10He would rather flex his muscles.
- ursername180, on 03/23/2008, -6/+1Did anyone used to think Knuckles was a girl when Sonic 3 came out? I mean, his sprite was so feminine looking with the pink shades and the eyes.
Eh, now he looks like a macho man.- YamiJim, on 03/23/2008, -3/+1he (she) was originally supposed to be a girl char.
- chriszilla445, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2Are you implying that not only was Knuckles ***** but it also had *****?
- YamiJim, on 03/23/2008, -1/+9unlike sonic , he doesn't chuckle.
- joey368, on 03/23/2008, -0/+21I would have added a few pointers.
1. Kill all the lame characters.
2. Bring back a few of the old characters that are "claimed" by Archie.
3. Pick a cast of voice actors and STICK WITH THEM!
4. Fire those emo bands and hire some better sounding bands or for that matter make the music yourselves!
5. Quit putting Sonic in a cheesy relationship. What gave SEGA the idea he'd fare well with a human?! Come on.- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3Yeah, what happened to that pink thing they decided to latch on to him like an alien trying to inject her eggs into your stomach.
- jjremy, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4It's so nice to know I wasn't the only one who was obsessed with Sonic comics...
- jgtg32a, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2I like your ideas, but with 4 do you mean take their job away or actually throw them in a fire, because I not so big on the former.
- Davers, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3As far as the voice actors are concerned, it's not all Sonic Team's fault. The VA for Robotnik died after Sonic Heroes was released, and they switched the VA for Sonic and Tails to match the VA in the anime series, so that they don't have 2 different voices.
- joey368, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1What about team Chaotix? I'm sure they had 3 VAs each so far. In SH, that anime, and in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games.
- linuxrocks2007, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Pretty much do the opposite of "jumping the shark".
- EnderMB, on 03/23/2008, -0/+17Great article, but one niggling issue...
Bollocks the Badger would be the coolest character ever! Come on Sonic Team, you can't really stoop any lower. Let's make Sonic go out with a bang! - quomen, on 03/23/2008, -2/+192D
- sdm011, on 03/23/2008, -0/+14Why are the studios afraid to release a 2d game? I would personally love to play another iteration of Donkey Kong Country even if it is 2D, or very closely related to 2D.
- lordgibbon, on 03/23/2008, -1/+12It's not just 2d games, studios are seemingly afraid to release something that isn't a FPS.
- gradivus, on 03/23/2008, -0/+12I hope its a WW2 FPS. I never get tired of those.
- lordgibbon, on 03/23/2008, -1/+12It's not just 2d games, studios are seemingly afraid to release something that isn't a FPS.
- 1807, on 03/23/2008, -11/+1You know...the team behind sonic COULD create a perfect game for you...OR you could spend 50 bucks and get the system and the games you love so much. After reading your wordy often repetitive post, I really didn't feel sorry for you and I wished that you would just buy a Sega Genesis and go on about your life. Face it, you're getting older and the times are changing.
- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6You have failed. Please die.
- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3I know I'm getting older, but if bad game design is all I have to look forward to then I quit.
- duo8675309, on 03/24/2008, -0/+250 bucks for an aging console and a cartridge that'll make me have to blow it more than my prison inmate? I'd rather spend 5 min. of my life downloading an emulator. It's not like the money I spent on it would still go to Sega by now anyway. Aside from that, playing the same levels over and over and over again gets old.
- CraigReed, on 03/23/2008, -9/+45What's with all the anti 3D sonic!? Sonic Adventure was a damn fine game.
- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -9/+4You wouldn't say that if you played the original games.
- Travelsonic, on 03/23/2008, -3/+6You fail at logic.
I have Sonic 1 through 3D Blast on the SEGA Genesis, and Sonic Adventure 1 + 2 and play them all the time.... Sonic Adventure 1 is by far my favorite.- XxbladesfirexX, on 03/23/2008, -1/+2I agree, although I think Sonic Adventure 2 is almost as good. Both fail at voice acting however...
- rumorsofdemise, on 03/23/2008, -2/+2Sonic Adventure 2 was great if you took out the Eggman/Tails and Knuckles/Rouge leves.
- sovietninja, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1I remember going to Fry's and trying this DREAMCAST thing. There was a sonic the hedgehog game and there was a part where this whale was chasing me and destorying the path behind me.
I was sold.
Sonic Adventure was a really awesome game. It still looks good and plays well on my Gamecube. While they are busy fixing Sonic I would like to request more Skies of Arcadia with less random battles please. Sky Pirates FTW. - ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0I can't stand Sonic Adventure because of the controls and camera, but other than that it's pretty good. Not as good as the originals, though.
- XxbladesfirexX, on 03/23/2008, -1/+2I agree, although I think Sonic Adventure 2 is almost as good. Both fail at voice acting however...
- Travelsonic, on 03/23/2008, -3/+6You fail at logic.
- supremesonic, on 03/23/2008, -1/+5Actually, he has a point. Running away from the whale, the flying stages and a few other things were incredibly cool. I clocked in way too many hours on the the DX version on the Gamecube...
- elambing, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3i really enjoyed sonic adventure 2 battle
- Peynis, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2Yeah, Sonic Adventure was awwwright (and the music was awesome too), it still had that old Sonic flair and best gameplay mechanics and leveldesign of any 3D Sonic ...
But then came Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic and the Secret Rings...
Besides, with Sonic Adventure, characters like Amy Rose, Big the Cat and the Chaos were introduced and Dr. Robotnik was renamed to Eggman, which was pretty much the beginning of the end...The writer would have missed his point if he had admitted that Sonic Adventure was a decent Sonic game... - Syphon8, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2Sonic Adventure 2 was awesome too, if only for Chao breedery.
- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -9/+4You wouldn't say that if you played the original games.
- jameswelch, on 03/23/2008, -3/+6sonic rush on the ds was actually really good fun,
a HD 2D sonic game with sonic knuckle and tails only would be amazing
:D - punchinelli, on 03/23/2008, -4/+13The article says that the Sonic Team never managed to produce a good 3-D Sonic game - this is *****. Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast was ***** excellent. A bit different, but damn good. One of the best platformers for its time. I think 3-D is still doable and could revitalize Sonic. You can make a 3-D Sonic game extremely fast - some of those levels in Sonic Adventure nearly made me motion sick they were so fast (if you were good!) Here's to the Dreamcast /shot of whiskey
- EnderMB, on 03/23/2008, -1/+3I think Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the Gamecube was a great game, but nowhere near as great as the older 2D Sonic games.
- Zwartbaard, on 03/23/2008, -1/+7I agree Sonic adventure on the dreamcast was kick ass! A good translation from 2d to 3d.
- SeriousMite, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2The Sonic levels were good, but the rest of the game was *****.
- dualscreenman, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Nobody will ever understand the pain of Big the Retard's fishing levels...
- doshindude, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5correction: SA was great if you were playing as Sonic. Everything else sucked.
- Rawclyce, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3Yeah. Tails in 3D = fail.
Tails get in the back of the line in 3D adventuring. You're a great sidekick, but no one wants to follow your slow, tail-waving ass around in 3D.
- Rawclyce, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3Yeah. Tails in 3D = fail.
- Gir53457, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6Yeah, I admit it too. I bought a dreamcast for SA.
- Rawclyce, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5The first time I played Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast was awesome. I remember it clearly. The other 3D Sonic games have sucked royally.
- SolidSnak, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1While I agree that Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast was great, I really rreally want a high-definition 2D sonic game with sonic, tails, and knuckles only.
- Pxtl, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1The Adventure games were moderately good when they stuck with the main gameplay - a hybrid between a platformer and a race. The lame crap happened in between - the frustrating searching in the hub-world in Sonic Adventure, the terribly-dull non-Sonic stuff in Adventure 2, the horribly complicated and buggy allegiance features of Shadow, and so on.
If they made a Sonic Adventure game that was just that - lots of Sonic Adventure platforming action, AND NOTHING ELSE, I think it would be a rather good game. No cut scenes, no other characters, nothing - just lots of 3D Sonic platformer action. The only thing they'd need to fix from the old games would be the camera. That'd be a pretty decent game right there. Slap on a multi-player race mode and you've got some replay value. Done.
- MarkCiccone, on 03/23/2008, -0/+29I remember being about 5 years old, and being in love with the Sonic games on the SEGA GameGear, so when I found out about the cartoon show I watched it religiously.
Well one morning my mom was getting me ready for kindergarten, and she was tying my shoes. I decided to quote my hero Sonic and say "I'm WAAAAAAAITING!"
Needless to say Sonic was not allowed to be mentioned in the house ever again.- supremesonic, on 03/23/2008, -0/+16At least you didn't do the "Fold arms and impatiently tap your foot" thing.
Oh, how much I got yelled at that day...- mecmermun, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3I had done both.
...I had to cut my own switch.
- mecmermun, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3I had done both.

- bardo77n, on 03/23/2008, -11/+1"Sonic and the Secret Rings" is awesome. Anybody that disagrees is wrong and can suck it.
- KMartSheriff, on 03/23/2008, -2/+4You just insulted everyone who isn't you.
- dualscreenman, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1It was ok. It could have been better, but it was a step in the right direction.
- ijmok, on 03/23/2008, -4/+1They should of resigned sonic to the history books years ago,
loved it as a child, but every update is a disappointment, still play the original
far better - EnderMB, on 03/23/2008, -3/+5There is one game I'm genuinely holding out for...
A HD version of the old Mega Drive/Genesis Sonic games. Imagine how amazing a HD version of Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Knuckles would be!- PixelEater, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Off topic. That's a rehash. We're talking about the FUTURE of this critically mistreated hedgehog hero.
- rumorsofdemise, on 03/23/2008, -3/+1YEAH.
I mean, it's the graphics that make a game great.
- GhostCow, on 03/23/2008, -10/+7He thought that Sonic Advance was better than Sonic Rush and he said none of the 3d games have been any good. WTF? I hate to use what's soon to be an old meme, but this article is full of fail. Sonic Adventure was a great game, and SA2 had a great story and was plenty fun when playing as Sonic or Shadow. Sonic and the Secret Rings falls somewhere in between those two in awesomeness.
One mistake I've noticed both articles made was this "back to Mobius thing" Sonic was never on Mobius. It never existed! All those genesis games you played as a kid? Those are set on earth, and the manual even states that Sonic was born on Christmas Island. The whole Mobius thing started off as a misquote that got out of hand once SatAM and the Archie comics started. If you don't know what you're talking about, STFU.
Another quote from the article: "No debates. He's Dr. Robotnik. He is not Dr. Eggman. I don't care what Japan calls him. I call him Robotnik, and that's all that matters."
Seriously. This guy is an ass. I like the name Robotnik better as well, but sheesh. and it's not just Japan. It's the entire rest of the freaking world. Then he goes on to complain about the music! The music is one of the few things most people agree IS good. Sonic Rush had an amazing soundtrack, and I have at least one song from every sonic game since the first on my playlist.
Now, I will agree with two things. They certainly need to stop adding new characters. Especially Hedgehogs. Shadow was pushing it, although he grew on me, but Silver was just too much. I'd also like to see a game set on Mobius. Something SatAM based would be awesome. I always figured that they could make another Shadow the Hedgehog game and have him "sacrifice" himself at the end, thus being warped to the SatAM world. It lets them change settings while keeping their second most popular character in a way that makes sense. It would also be a nice opportunity bring back a much more sinister and deadly Robotnik :D- Rizzen, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1SA2:B soundtrack was by large sex compacted into disk form.
- Pxtl, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1I only played the Dreamcast version, but I assume the music was the same: It was good, provided you were really good at the game. If you took more than 5 minutes on a single level, the song would loop. Normally, this is harmless.... but when there's vocals, and the music is stuck on a loop, and you take over 10 minutes to finish those aweful Knuckles scavenger hunt levels, it gets really painful.
"Follow me and we will escape from the city" starts to grate after hearing it for the 50th time. No vocals in game music, ever.

- Afrotronics, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1I haven't heard the Sonic Rush soundtrack, but I don't agree at all that the music is good in any other Sonic game released lately, other than the PS3 version which had an arrangement of the Sonic 2 ending theme. Most people from born between 1981-1990 I've talked to think the new sonic music sounds like the band that did the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers theme song is trying to make a come back. I wouldn't mind the music in the games so much if it wasn't for those cheesy vocals. It really takes away from the atmosphere of the game.
- Jaydo, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3People give the rock feeling of SA 1-2 so much ***** and it frustrates the hell out of me. Just because you hear a guitar and instantly turn into a retard doesn't make the music any less complex or arranged than the old school midi compositions. The music is not generic pop rock/emo like so many people love to call it, this stuff wouldn't make it on the radio because it actually has movement, scales and progression.
It feels like I'm surrounded by fools. So many arrogant, musically-uninclined people bash this music with faulty basis. Fortunately, every music maker/lover I come across (especially those involved with making VG-Music (Thank you for giving me hope, Mustin!)) feels the same way about the soundtracks, as well as other game soundtracks many people tend to give ***** to, and that allows me to remain sane.- SKick, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1People have different tastes. Learn to cope. Just because other people dislike SA 1-2's music doesn't mean that I can't personally enjoy it.

I'd really like to see SEGA stop making snuff films and start making games again. :( - alefox, on 03/23/2008, -2/+23finally someone came out and said it, please call Dr. robotnik dr. robotnik, eggman just sounds stupid (like all the 3d sonic games) keep it simple with 3 main characters, sonic, miles (tails), and knuckles. then have one bad dude, robotnik (not eggman). the original games for the genesis were the greatest (except for the 3D one, which just sucked) keep them all with that formula and keep it 2D 16bit style with "hi--def" (genesis owners should get a minor chuckle from the "hi-def") even if it's on the PS3, stick with 2D
/continues rant about how awesome the first sonic games were and how much the newer ones suck- PixelEater, on 03/23/2008, -2/+3Not really. He's never been Robotnik in Japan, and I can only encourage the breaking down of things lost in translation.
And hey, Sonic 3D Blast was ***** on the Saturn. - satanswetnipple, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1USA had Nintendo. Nintendo had the American market sewn up. The world did not buy Nintendo NES or SNES. The world went for Sega Master Systems and Megadrives... well if they were not able to afford an Amiga 500 or Amiga 1200. If USA was a small market for Sega, and many times the players grew up with eggman than dr robotnic, then it may be time for Americans to stop believing they are at the centre of the world on this.
- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0they cant keep the name robotnik in the US version?
- HolyChimp, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1It was Robotnik in the UK too. Eggman was just what Sonic called Robotnik as some kind of insult.
I don't care what anyone says, it's Robotnik, which was Kintobor backwards, and that's what I'm going to keep calling him.- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0oh, i didn't know whether it was or not.
- PixelEater, on 03/23/2008, -2/+3Not really. He's never been Robotnik in Japan, and I can only encourage the breaking down of things lost in translation.
- wafflesomd, on 03/23/2008, -0/+25Give him chili dogs.
- Key2gb, on 03/23/2008, -1/+3haha I was actually arguing with my roommate because he didn't believe me that Sonic's favorite food was chili dogs...i had to youtube an old clip from the cartoon (the one with "Sonic Sez/Says" at the end of each episode) to prove it...and he never knew that those things you jump on the the Sega Gensis games were chili dogs
- richIsBored, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1What? There were chili dogs in the genesis games? I have to see a screenshot or something.
- Key2gb, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1In the casino level..the little things he bounces off of that change color around the slot machines are chili dogs
http://www.racketboy.com/retro/sonic-casino.jpg
in the top picture they are green, but when you hit them they change color - xp3ll3d, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Errr, yeah they are his favourite food.
NO those things in the pic are NOT chilli dogs.
Why would he even eat a green chilli dog anyway...- Key2gb, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1they're chili dogs man
like i said, they change color when you hit them...they aren't always green
what are they if they aren't chili dogs?
- Key2gb, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1they're chili dogs man

- wafflesomd, on 03/23/2008, -0/+2I don't recall seeing them in the game.
I'm sure you remember that they played rock instruments.
- richIsBored, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1What? There were chili dogs in the genesis games? I have to see a screenshot or something.
- Flawed77, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1Here, here! More chili dogs for the hedgehog!
- hiroyukibatosai, on 03/23/2008, -1/+1***** you.

- ireland88, on 03/23/2008, -1/+3I enjoyed sonic adventure, it was a great game but it was filed with a lot of ***** that could have been left out (the little pets... I like when they explode from my enemy's but i don't need to raise them). I think sonic and Knuckles was the best sonic game ever if they could bring back that same element of wonder, the levels were insane in that game.
- patm1987, on 03/23/2008, -2/+1The only way to get another awesome Sonic game is for Sega to make a new console and need a mascot to sell it. Even then, the ip may be so tarnished now that it would actually turn away new gamers and Sega would probably opt for something new, similar to their replacing of Kid Chameleon. If you look at Sonic Adventure, the issue isn't 3D so much as Sonic Team just doesn't seem to care anymore (that and the original Sonic Team is long gone and took their level designing talents with them).
- Peynis, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1"The only way to get another awesome Sonic game is for Sega to make a new console and need a mascot to sell it"
Yeah, and Sonic would obviously be the best choice to do that, now that Sega has finally come up with some new, successful franchises...

- bbColonie, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3What I'd like to see...kind of what they are doing for for Street Fighter 4. Keep a new Sonic Game 2-D. I've played some of the 3-D sonic games, and they don't translate as well as some of the Mario ones. It's like the original fun of the Sonic games gets sucked out of it. So I say keep it 2-D, but in doing that give all the characters and boards a very Hi-Res, 3-D, polished feel.
- Primous, on 03/23/2008, -2/+3Sorry to say this but sonic adventure was the closest you will ever get to a god sonic game. The only place it failed really was the camera and the use of the other characters thing. The story wasn't so the best, but it was entertaining, the music in sonic adventure was amazing I don't see how you could not think that it was a throw back...

those are just some of my favorites from that game. Not to mention how surreal some of the zones were. The over world thing they did was not the greatest but it worked, because it connected the stages you went to. The boss fights had those old school eggman feel, you got to actually fight knuckles, and chaos was just like metal sonic for me. Seriously most people thought the game was great when it first came out. It would have been perfect if not for the extra characters and the camera from time to time.- PixelEater, on 03/23/2008, -1/+3So, like, you actually thought that vaginal discharge of 3D geometry was better than, say, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, eh? The closest to god a Sonic game ever was, eh?
- nights0223, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1The Twinkle Park song is actually from Sonic 3D Blast, but I agree that SA had some great music.
- UnWeave, on 03/23/2008, -0/+8"So far, only one character introduction has worked, because Knuckles the Echidna was the *****"
YES. - sniffer, on 03/23/2008, -0/+6i Still love Sonic CD. One of my favourite games of all time. BRING MORE OF THAT!
- PixelEater, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1That game actually acceled because some other team took the reigns. It would be worth trying again, because Sonic Team is nothing but an incapable shell these days.
- cheaptricks, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Acceled? That's a clever play on words for the subject of Sonic. Combining excelled and accelerate

- Rice, on 03/23/2008, -6/+18Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best video game ever.
Digg me up or down depending on whether or not you agree.- TheMarenum, on 03/23/2008, -0/+5Damn, I really wanted to digg you up because sonic and knuckles kicks ass... but it's just no Mario 3.
- Laughto, on 03/23/2008, -0/+4Not best ever but extremely good.
- Daniel15, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1YES! :D
- infiniteloop87, on 03/23/2008, -3/+2i'm guessing this guy is British as he calls the sega a mega drive (not a genesis)... so i wonder if they remember the channel 4 cartoon 12 or so years ago where it was just sonic, tails, robotic, sratch and grounder. that was so much better then this new anime crap as well.
i can't agree more with this article - ya know sonic 3 and knuckles had a great simple story - and just enough charactors - it was even nice to have amy around during sonic cd.
any way great article - many diggs
x- edjenkins234, on 03/23/2008, -0/+1that cartoon was the best cartoon ever made that was based off a videogame
- ehal256, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0he's american, because he calls eggman robotnik.
- kastlip88, on 03/23/2008, -0/+3They just need to take pride in making his games rather than rushing them out for a quick cash off...
