- lofidan, on 10/12/2007, -4/+73Could HAVE not could OF! You're getting the bill for my broken monitor, buddy.
- britkev1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+30I would say its more like the other way around. I hate reading all the April fools ***** mixed in with the real stories. BAH-HUMBUG!!!
- krakkinem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26I've grown to hate April Fools' day thanks to the internet. It almost makes me want to down some sedatives and sleep through the whole day.
We still have to sift through all the B.S. stories over the next few days anyway, though.
By the way, Duke Nukem Forever is finally coming out, and George W. Bush is being impeached! - Rice, on 10/12/2007, -2/+26Internet killed the April Fools' Day
Oh-a oh!...
***** came and broke your heart.
Oh-a-a-a oh!... - Rice, on 10/12/2007, -5/+29zemkacz, Die.
- zetamilk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18To me it feels like people are trying too hard. Every site i visit has obvious fake news. "oh right, april fools. ha. ha."
- NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Digg Users: Check out Slashdot's nice little April Fools tribute to Digg.
- alpine75, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18This article was great!!!!

Heheh! - Fjinks, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15The internet is such a pain to browse on April 1th....
- jasonwert, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Preach on brother, I hate this *****. Every year half the internet is worthless for a day.
- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I motion that we move April Fools Day to a non disclosed date until the time the prank has been pulled the date will be disclosed.
- zweben, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Too...
many...
line breaks.
Can't read. - spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I like April Fools Day better thanks to the internet. Jerks will sequester their tomfoolery to web pages instead of putting rubber snakes in my coffee.
- Jabjabs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4April fools can be really good if the jokes are good not just taking some semi believable story and posting it on this day. Take a note form Google, if youa re going to do a joke make it good and make it funny, not lame.
- openaddy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Although seeing a hundred submissions about Google's "awesome" April Fool's joke is lame.. :-|
- imakethenews, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This is no laughing matter, you guys. This article says that over 1900 celebrities are going to die today! We have to do something to help them!
- VioletArrows, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It was last night technically, and it was so horrendous I didn't even bother to watch more than 10 minutes. Drawing squigglies on everything - AWESOME. Farting noises - forgivable, but funny. Perfect Hair Marathon with crappy 70's fansubbing and washed out video - ***** off and die, Williams Street.
- yarukizero, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Amen. Thanks to EGM I can't stand that crap anymore. Not that I was ever a fan of lying based on the calendar date.
Of course, part of the problem with EGM is that their April issue reaches people in mid-March, so it's more like St. Patrick's Day Fools. This year it was "Mushroom Kingdom Hearts." Video game sites need to be braver about "spoiling" this immature nonsense, as a public service. - nbcivic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1see here's what i do, i say stuff like, "you're a dumbass.......APRIL FOOLS," but saying april fools is just an excuse so they don't get mad ;).
- avisotin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Agree 100% with blog author.
The Internet IS a *****-talking hydra. - dRuNk3nIrIsHmEn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1“Honey you’re pregnant? Suuuuure…”
- Alchemeron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't do Halloween, period. If my nephew asked for socks, I'd give him socks.
- Nerevar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm still waiting to see how many people fall for Adult Swim's big April fool's joke tonight.
- SpeedyG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The article reads like a high school essay.
There are people out there, for whom you could put THIS IS AN APRIL FOOLS' JOKE LAUGH CLOWN THIS ISN'T TRUE all over the page, and you would STILL get a bunch of fools asking if it was real. How else do you think that stuff like Sonic/Tails in Melee still manages to have legs? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@Alchemeron
I suppose you also give kids apples for Halloween and put socks in your nephew's birthday present? - popapiska, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't believe it! I swear i saw it on freshmeat or somewhere else.
- fweepa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0good read. dugg
- maksilly, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0classic NSP rant
- Alchemeron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'm glad that the internet has the power to dispell April Fool's Day. It's a ridiculous observation that, as an adult, I simply do not need in my life. I put away the cheesy sitcom humor before I hit puberty.
- OniSyphon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Okay, now tell us how you really feel.
- professor492, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Love the podcast these guys do.
- FamousMortimer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1April Fools' Day is like Christmas and Easter. When you're a kid, it's awesome and magic. Once you get older it's just one more thing to complain about, since there's no Santa Claus, Easter Bunny or Shen Long.
- camtheman2343, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0there is SO a naked cheat in DOA:BV!!!!! I have it done on my own game
- humpy, on 10/12/2007, -10/+7ya' could of been a little nicer about it : (
- nullenigma, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0You just have to be more clever.
- an0nymous, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4April Fool's day sucks.
Everybody thinks they have immunity from consequences all of a sudden.
Like shouting "April Fool's!" will ever get you out of a manslaughter charge. - quickgold192, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1It's hard to pull a prank anywhere now with the first post always being like "HAHA THIS IS TOTALLY AN APRIL FOOLS!! IT CAN'T BE TRUE!!"
Yeah, no *****. just play along. - yevkasem, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3digg is not your personal advertisement site.
- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3And actually it's more like could've.
- zweben, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3IT ONLY WORKS IF YOU SCREAM IT.
- minitrollster, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0SCCCUL sucks!
- ch33sehead, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1And while you're at it, it's "kind have" and not "kind of."
- sirdaz, on 10/12/2007, -27/+13***** the RIAA
- jsffive, on 10/12/2007, -21/+0I'm amazed by the people out there who think that we only get lied to on April 1. No. The difference between April 1 and any other day is that, on April Fools Day, it's OK to expose the *****.
Here's some rhetorical questions.
Wanna tell me again how we got lied into a war with a nation that didn't attack us?
Wanna tell me how a 110-story tall building collapses in ten seconds, into it's own footprint, without a lot of help?
Wanna explain how TWO of them do it within a half-an-hour of each other on the same day?
Yeah. The much bally-hooed "Internet" may eventually expose a lie... but it doesn't STOP them.
I say SCREW ANY DAY when it's acceptable, even EXPECTED, to ***** me.
***** Bill O'Reilly.
