- Funman1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I think my machine will kick that things a$$.
I may not have as much art work on the sides but min looks and plays better, and I built it!!
http://www.jbflops.com/mame - meangene, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sweet
- caldroun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was thinking the same thing....I smell a hack.
- TRUEPATRIOT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i will want one once someone hacks it and i can put roms on it
=D - z0rz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is pretty sweet but I got to thinking, if it only has 1 button and 1 joystick it might be better to build your own. I mean if your going to have something that takes up that much space it might as well do more than just 12 games and a button or two, but what do I know?

http://z0rz.com/blog - slowspin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's really cool.
- hankbeasley, on 04/22/2009, -0/+0I will be buying one!
- bakatrinh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0my friend made his own arcade cabinet with a pc on the inside.
he then puts MAME on it along with about 1000+ games. we would get drunk and play metal slugs and x-men vs. street fighter on there. - urmudda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You can make 1 urself with 1000s of games on it
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0!!!!! It's not what you think !!!!!
http://www.mybiggames.com/index_files/image021.jpg
Look, he's 12 and is hunched over it to play it.
Also the website was made in Microsoft PUBLISHER 11, so lame FrontPage wouldn't even make it
!!!!! It's not what you think !!!!! - luke--, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It looks really low quality....shouldn't be for that price...
- pigsbladder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0they have the worst website ever
- Crazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sweet
- ifonly, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1ROFL http://www.mybiggames.com/index_files/page0004.htm is nearly 3000 lines!!! all it is .. is a page with 2 short descriptions
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0boy they will miss big if they don't include galaga and ms pacman, when they do that sure I'll buy it.
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Whoops, I meant to post a link to the table top version: http://www.mybiggames.com/index_files/page0006.htm
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Bigger picture: http://www.mybiggames.com/index_files/image020.jpg
Yeah, that sucks.
Although I got to admit, the table top version is a pretty cool idea, and could be easily built at home. - greensky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would really like to get a table-top version. That would totally rock!
- ipunchstrangers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the Target where I live just started selling instruments like full drumsets and stuff, too. I'm begining to love that place.
- emocean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think Galaga & Ms Pac Man are both NAMCO games. Buy one of those plug-in-the-tv versions. Mine has 7 games (inc those above, Pole Position, Mappy, etc) and it's freaking wireless!
$40CDN :P
:: - ArtVanderlay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't believe it has no Galaga, that game was sweet.
- kevbryant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0man i cant wait till this is hacked and we can put nes games on it and such. besides, the av port doesnt port controls... but if its got more than one b utton nes would rock on this.
- klutzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah.. I noticed that the machine is definitely NOT full sized. If it was, it would leave it wide open to Mame-ify.
- acemilo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You can build your own using an old pc and an old tv and play a ***** more than 12 games.
- terrya64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I had a fully functional Galage tabletop that I bought at swapmeet for about $50.00. When I moved a few years later I just gave it to a neighbor :(
- Zeruel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A 5'2" cabinet sounds more like a mini cabinet to me. Doesn't look like it would be moddable by any means. Personally, I'd love to have two six button setups for fighting games, but I digress...
- surratt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It has avi inputs. You can hook up about any game system you want to. Just throw a hacked xbox into it.
- luke--, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cheap case with what is likely a cheap tv with what is likely cheap hardware running open source emulation
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad its not a full sized cabinet, otherwise it would be worth thte $500 just to gut the components and put a MAME machine in there. The best thing is still building your own (http://mame.velociworks.com/main.html ), if you're good with wood, that is. Otherwise it can cost up to $3,000 for a custom cabinet with controls and a monitor.
- timbtwisted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this thing is just over 5 feet tall, so it's not full-sized by any means. They need to make it larger like 6 feet or so would be alot better they again I could make a stand forit so it's going to come down to that size of the screen. I'll have to go check it out when they hit the stores.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0More like a back-spazm machine.
- logost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmm $500... xbox360 or this... im not a xbox fan but id have to say the choice is easy
- powetgames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm 6'2'', and most arcade machines go over my head.
a little stool would be fine to play it, though. - scotty588, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I work at Target and we just got these in. I see about 2 of them in the back.
- rimco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Am I the only one who has noticed that these are basically most of the games on the 1st edition of Midway's new Arcade Classics line of games? Obviously you won't see Galaga on there... I'm sure it sucks, but it's at least interesting.
- SystemError, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ROMS
- nstern2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ironic that something like this pops up as I am pricing out my own mame cabinet. This one is a pos imho. The one I priced out is just a little over $500 plus I can play just about every arcade game ever made.
- greensky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Their table-top one isn't exactly what I had in mind... "It is designed to fit on a table, counter or bar top."
I'm looking for something more like this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Table-top-Pacman-Arcade-Game_W0QQitemZ8708219759QQcategoryZ1182QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting - BiGdUsTy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just finished restoring my Ms. Pacman cabinet about a month ago. It plays like a brand new machine now. It took around $700 in parts to get it running again but it was worth it. It was always a childhood dream of mine to have one these units. Hmmm now if i could just find a Galaga cabinet to restore.
- warrengonline, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, this is a nifty idea I've always wanted to come true, but 12 games? I'm a Centipede (trackball), Missle Command (trackball), Yar's Revenge, Final Fight type guy. And for $500, I feel something like that using mainly Sony part for the sound and video could be assembled for $250, are you with me?
It would be nice if an self-motivated person re-opens a lively arcade scene with classic games. Hmm, idea or a sure-fire way to go bankrupt? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ms Pacman and galaga were created by namco and published by midway so go figure.
- bubbazanetti, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sounds to me like one of those all in one joysticks-games plugged into a cheap tv monitor (not vga monitor) stuck in a box.
VS some of the nice MAME systems I have wished someone would give me... - pentomino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sure, you can make your own... IF you have lots of time, materials and the skills to do it right.
Something like this is probably the best we can hope for from the mass market. 62" isn't full-size but you could probably put a bench in front of it, like those machines at GameWorks. And maybe if it's popular enough, they'll put out a full-size expandable one, or at least one that's suitable to become a PC case. - MrCoffee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Root Beer tapper came out at the same time (or shortly afterwards) as the Budweiser version. To sell to places that didn't want to have a beer version. Not selling out, or anything like that. Was done years ago, dude.
- Funman1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks robisc, I think you're the only one who even looked at it..
Do you plan on building one ever?? - robisc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0funman1 nice MAME box! As for the 8/32 carriage bolts have you tried mikesarcade.com ?
- gamblindan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+01983 was cool when it was 1983. it will collect dust next to your soloflex. now if it had galaga...
- Ixliam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just go build your own in an old arcade cabinet. Check out http://arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm or visit http://wotlmud.home.comcast.net/mame.html to see my own arcade I built. A free cab, cheap monitor, old PC and some arcade parts = your own arcade machine.
- Funman1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Also thanks for the link to the bolts.
I ordered some and they are on their way!! - Photog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It looks cool, but I would probably have to take it out of that horrible cabinet. Hmmm, how much are "Satan's Hollow" cabinets going for these days? That would look great next to my Ms. Pac Man & Donkey Kong... http://videotog.textamerica.com/?r=1637449 & http://videotog.textamerica.com/?r=1637484
