- mburns, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Fun fact from the future: After 2.5 years of this comment being posted, my web server still gets 1-2 hits every single day for the zelda.ace.torrent file, which was deleted over 2 years ago.
- jblfireball, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1Actually you're wrong. Do a little research on the rice video plugin.
- Nightzet467, on 12/21/2008, -0/+1can't retexture everything, that'd take forever
- dolby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I love Zelda, I would love it more if I could download it.
- TheDarkTipper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It is.
- Napalm05, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1decent mirror

- Nightzet467, on 12/22/2008, -0/+1no it isn't, the guy got sued, the program to make the game with the 16-bit sprites is available, but the guy quit making it
- PhantomaZero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's a torrent link floating around in there. I'd give you the link but the forums seem to be frozen.
- beelz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thank you for the link robotArn
- robotArn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ive been following the thread for a while. its supposed to look like wind waker.
- DownloadThis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, looks beautiful! I puchased an Adaptoid/N64 Controller a few months ago, and have putting off Zelda:OOT due to my playing other games. Looks like this is the perfect time to start my quest. :)
- TacitusBen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There seems to be some give and take for the graphics. They look more crisp, but the surface looks more simplified.
- robotArn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It depends on whether or not you like the cell shaded wind waker look, but from what i've read this is one of the most complete packs of oot.
- omnithrope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is fantastic. Thanks a ton!
(Thanks for the torrent link, too. =) - BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh. Well, in that case, it's beautiful.
- Brightside, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just go to this gallery for more screenshots:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v203/Tjalian/OoT/ - Seth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You have to use the European version or you get some errors.... I think they said something about French...
- 4ZN-1NV4ZN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0heh thought it looked pretty pointless, but after seein the windwaker-like water HOTDAMN
- 1percent, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's really quite amazing. Downloading now.
Go Go Go user-made content! - pbjorge12, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I loved teh art style sof both...I was just wondering which is more "complete"
- pbjorge12, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is this Hi-Res Cel pack better than the other Hi-Res pack posted here?
http://www.emutalk.net/high-resolution-textures-projects/26320-federellis-retexture-pack-zelda-oot-mq.html - MightyGiant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can we get some screenshots? The only shot in the article looks no different.
- sych0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0eh, impressed. Though i wish that 2d ocarina of time was still in development :(
- mburns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Mirror of the torrent is: http://mirwin.net/zelda.ace.torrent
- spyhunter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Those are mostly Wind Waker textures. Wind Waker has a different art style, and mixing the two styles together just doesn't work all that well. The models are all still very low poly count, so stretching high-res textures across them often looks strange. Plus, there seem to be tons of glitches and just plain out-of-place textures. I'll stick with the original, thanks very much.
- gukid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0And who the heck doesn't?
Yay for 4cr! - Mexrocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love you Tixer... thank you very very much
- TimmyK., on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I actually prefer the graphics of Wind Waker to what i've seen of the new Zelda game. Of course I am dying to play the new one, as it is a Zelda game and pretty much guaranteed to be excellent, but I would have liked to see them comtinue with the cell shaded look. It would have been pretty cool with a darker, more brooding art direction. I think that the cell shaded look fits the feel of the Zelda series much much better. All the old Zelda games had a lighter more whimsical look to them. I was never that blown away by the darker feel of that Gamecube demo movie either. But none the less any Zelda game is something to celebrate (especially those CD-I games!)
- rhino_rampant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can't wait to see how this looks! Total digg!
- kjartan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I got it all up and running, but it's a little sluggish even on my 3500+ with a 6600GT. Still needs some polishing (some textures that are next to each other don't match up properly). Still pretty damned cool! +digg!!!!
- 3fingeredjoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0is it possible to use it on the xbox?
- trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anyone know if this works with sixtyforce or mupen with 10.4 tiger? also I already have the original and have the original and have beaten the game(in sixtyforce) so can I get the textures to work with my game save somehow instead of starting over?
- wheremyarm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah I'm curious, could this be applied to the Xbox version of Project64, or Surreal XXX?
- Cam_86, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0can someone host the "Rice's Video Plugin"? To get it off that forum, i need to join...
- chemicalsno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Rice Video 6.1.0c
http://rapidshare.de/files/7609550/RiceVideo6.1.0c.rar.html - InvisibleMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can someone out there make a zip or rar with ALL the files needed to run this so all that is required is to unzip to the Emulator's Folder. I think that would help a lot of people who want to experience this but don't want to spend an hour trying to find all the parts.
I haven't got it to work, or I do it myself but I did find this page:
http://www.emutalk.net/high-resolution-textures-projects/31312-can-someone-make-step-step.html - Braingoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not if you own the original OOT.
- Mexrocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0um..... how excatly do I do this??
- powerbook86, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is nice and all but I have no idea on how to install it even with a working ROM and all the sites linked to plug-ins or things needed are dead. Any help?
- ahmerhussain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What about Majora's Mask?
- neohx_7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some of you still don't get it. There are two texture packs. There is a "final" Celda pack with Wind Waker textures. Then there is another that is not finalized that tries to keep with the original. The screenshot in the dudes blog seems to be from the original flavor texture pack although he links to Celda... :/
http://www.emutalk.net/high-resolution-textures-projects/29577-help-thread-djipis-also-federellis-packs.html - cygnusx-1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm not quite understanding the walkthrough, I don't have a "textures" options under any advanced options windows. I understand that you have to enable the advanced options on either 1964 or project64, but when I do that I don't get anything about "textures" in anything. so... yea, that's basically what I'm sayin.
- teitoku, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Authentic to what?
- xtremesniper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Meh I think the textures on the Ocarina of Time gave it that authentic look. This ruins it.
- MikeEFresh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0FTP has too many people, anyone have a mirror?
- MikeCampo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Very nice. Let's hope that Nintendo does the same for emulated games on the Revolution.
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It doesn't look right...
It's more Wind Waker than OOT.

These are not new "hi-res" textures, it's a modification of the game engine to produce 'cel-shading' effects similar to The Wind Waker. -
