- FriedTurkey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+83Is it Xbox live ready?? Are there hot keys to call some one "gay" or a "*****"? Now 13 year olds won't have to bother screaming it into their microphones anymore.
- rockrapdude, on 10/12/2007, -11/+85digg for the arrows mate!
- merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+55Definite upgrade to the on screen keyboard. That thing takes forever.
- HalFTW, on 10/12/2007, -2/+48Now I can type in my WPA key in less than 10 minutes.
- slrranma, on 10/12/2007, -7/+44this reminds me of the jaguar controller http://www.atariage.com//Jaguar/controllers/con_JaguarController.jpg
- InfinitySnatch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+38Why talk when you can text!
- HolyCrapYo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+38Well you don't need this attachment, as opposed to the old Xbox controller always being huge.
- VipeNess, on 10/12/2007, -2/+33Actually, surprised to see how snug it is, and how the sides of the controller keeps your palms lightly on it keyboard attachment. Another use for thumbs for gaming ;) Type and Frag at the same time.
- Roflworthy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29Will there be a black one for the elite?
- r2builder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Cool, now we can get Zork on the 360!
'you are facing west. There is a book on the table'
'pick up the book'
'i do not understand pick up the book'
'open the book'
'i do not understand open the book'
and you'd have to sit there imagining why you cannot possibly pick up the book.
Fun times. - Atom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Very impressive.
I wonder if there's going to be a black one? Also any ETA on this item? - caliyankee, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Drrrrrr
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16What's with the PC fanboys in this thread? Jeeze we get it. KB & Mouse are better. This an XBOX thread. Not a PC gaming thread. Now GTFO!
- WickedDrag0oN, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Cause everybody knows you enter your WPA key EVERY DAY...
- nreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14it might not be as accurate, but analog sticks are way cooler than a mouse and keyboard. You're not gunna get the majority of people to put down the sticks for a keyboard, it's just way too nerdy. And they are good enough. Halo 2 online proves that.
- AgntOrnge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Who said WoW was coming to the 360?
- SteveMax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11My cousin bought one of those Logitechs. It's awful as a keyboard, impossible to use as a game controller, and ridiculous as both. It is huge, as in "like a small PC keyboard". The X360 one is tiny in compairson.
- Koopa, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16Wow, that thing looks awful...
- velvet396, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10@therealdeal101 - that photo is private
- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Wow. It lights up. Maybe it is worth it.
- rewen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9"barried" your comment as stupid.
- Tolzmaniac, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Shameless advertising...
- gwolf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Yeah; it's a shame Microsoft is putting a gun to your head, pulling your mother's credit card out of your wallet and forcing you to buy it at the checkout counter.
- Morphinity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8So I can't play my games with WSAD? ***** that!
- shimamoto, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Yes, only there's 4 times the keys, it's an add-on, wireless, and is on a successful console. But besides that it's basically the same thing.
- shyam131, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I think this would be great to use with my HTPC vs having a mouse and full sized keyboard on my coffee table.
- wageslaven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The XBox 360 controllers work with Windows XP & VIsta. This will probably work with XP & Vista when it ships, i cant see any reason why not (it should be very easy to do). You're 100% correct, this will *rock* for wireless control of your living room PC.
So does the Guitar Hero 2 X-Plorer controller :) - gwolf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I like the idea of not having to juggle, put this down -- pick this up. If it's a comfortable grip and doesn't interfere with control, great idea.
- Zipp425, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@SPARTACVS
Are you serious? that would be awesome. where did you hear this? - Dested, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6They should have used a system like a cellphones T9. I can type like 50wpm with it, and thats nothing compared to Asian girls. Saves on real estate too.
- rewen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Any USB keyboard works on the 360, wireless or not (a wireless keyboard is no different than a wire, as far as the system it is connected to is concerned.).
But you would have to like to juggle if you want to swap a full size keyboard with a thumb pad. My keyboard gets in the way and gathers dust sitting under my couch. I'd go for the thumb pad any day. I love the one on my Moto Q, the xbox one looks even better. - Jethris, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5However, you can type IM to your MSN buddies. That right there is way cool. Plus, this will make the upcoming browser even more useful.
- thorbergdt, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10Sweet the keyboard will be nice to pop it on in times of need. Doesn't look to bad at all....Now just give us damn DIVX support and well be set!
- wageslaven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Personally, I'd say both are good. I'll probably get this to cut down on the pick-up / put-down / battery replace etc etc of having a keyboard.
With MSN Messenger integration, I'll be able to drop quick notes to my PC-based contacts -- all the "hey, what are you doing" while Im in the living room gaming.
Looks great. MS has a great (deserved) reputation for really great peripherals, and this is clearly a great looking design... looks comfortable too. - SPARTACVS, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Actually, DivX is getting support in this same update that enables live messenger functionality. :)
- Tunguska, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Will this make RTS on console easier?
- SharinganBob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4The keyboard comes with its own new headset according to the guy who posted these pics on his website http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2007/04/09/543811.aspx
- hightower77, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7@gregharmon
A monstrosity perhaps? - MiDri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Logitech and MS keyboards, just about any keyboard that sticks with the keyboard standard for transmitting over USB (genetic windows drivers work in xp/vista) will work on the 360
- RadicalPathways, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I still don't get it.
Doesn't the voice capabilities of Live trump the need for something like this?
At least this is what I've heard all the Xbox fanboys say since Xbox Live's inception.... - rocke86, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Gamecube had a similar one, really awkward.
http://www.planetgamecube.com/media/2389/1/9342.jpg
A full size gaming keyboard/controller just isn't very practical. I like thumb keyboards better for this situation. Way to go MS, just don't over charge for it, please.
- zetsurin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't own a 360 but I think this is very cool and a clever idea. It certainly gets my Digg.
- GFX1003, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2the spring update is going to add instant messaging, it'll be good for that.
- subcomandante, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4That's the first thing I thought too.
- maggot4life, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nice arrows. How did you do that??
- jpbleuu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you can clearly see that the keyboard as a place on the bottom of it to plug in the mic.
- GhostToon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dear god man! I know people can be lax with there basic grammar on the Internet (myself included) but did you pay absolutely no attention in elementary school?
- onlynameicanget, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can't believe no one's mentioned this yet, but this will be great for games like Oblivion. I love making spells, but I don't exactly love spending half a minute to name each one, moving the cursor from letter to letter. If the price is reasonable, I'm definitely picking up one of these.
- AARGH2K, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Great idea, for the spring update with Messenger, and the eventual release of MMORPG's on the 360.
- brivix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That's what I was wondering... Like will they start making black everything (wireless headsets, network adapters, etc.)? But this would be the most important since they are attached to each other..

What is Digg?
