- PooChunk, on 01/29/2008, -0/+2and look what you got. Halo 3 doesn't even look better than Gears of War which came out almost a year before it and now you have the superior FPS (Call of Duty 4) multiplatform. Halo no longer matters unless they throw out everything and start from scratch for the next one instead of just adding weapons and maps and tweaks.

I enjoy Halo 3 a lot, no regrets about buying my 360. I love Halo but I admit it has its flaws and is underwhelming in parts of the campaign, and bungie royally screwed up some parts of mulitplayer (no decent maps, ridiculous br spread). Halo 3 was the main reason I chose the 360 over the PS3 and Wii, along with the price tag. You're making it sound like I made a bad console choice. I played GeoW, and it was damned good fun, multiplayer wasn't so great though. CoD 4 is also amazing but I prefer any of the Halo games over any of the CoDs.
Regarding your point about Halo no longer mattering, I'm assuming you are referring to sequels. There won't be a continuation of the story arc from Halo 1 2 and 3. - Wohmfg, on 01/29/2008, -1/+1I bought my 360 for Halo wayyy before it came out though, like 2 christmases ago.
