Sure, the game might be fun, but It won't last 5 years like a console will. I plan on purchasing 2 of every console, why? Because im a rich white boy from Indiana, so sue me.

Im not 100% on the whole story either, but Halo was originally written for the PC and then mid development they switched over to the xbox because they needed a launch title. - JeffMcKamey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Halo 1 was super because it was written for the mac by a nice small company, and was bought by Microsoft to make sure the Mac did not have a cooler game than the xbox (I don't really know the full story there, but that is what it looked like from a bystanders point of view). Halo 2 was good because it still had some vestige of that small company going for it. I'm not sure how Halo 3 is going to be a show stopper for the PS3...

- megatoast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why is this good or bad? Sony will walk right into Halo 3 Day, and still walk out with millions of consoles sold. Bill Gates is relying on Halo to be it's big game. Sure, it worked with Halo 1, it's the reason the Xbox exists. Halo 2 was lacking. Can it be the big push for the Xbox 360? Maybe. I'm just not so sure it's going to obliterate Sony's sales of the PS3.
