Wouldn't be surprised that they recycled it for another magazine cover though, it's a nice illustration. Halo 2 looked phenomenal by itself though some XBoxes had that pop-in problem (newest model and original model don't have that problem). As long as they continue to make games fun and better than the last I don't need to be innovative. Focus on making current ideas better.
And anyone who thinks that the new Nintendo system will dominate because of innovation, just realize that the system is not innovative, whereas the PS3 and XBOX are incredibly innovative using highly specialized hardware. - geneticerror, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Halo 3 will be a letdown if it only has 2 years in development. Think about it. It took bungie 3 years to make Halo 2. With the xbox 360's hardware, Bungie will try to make the game as graphically advanced as it can be, which these days takes a long time. If they rush it, it will look very bad and with all the unrealistic difficult to implement new features that fanboys are demanding, they will need to either hire more team members or it will flop there too.

The 360 and PS3 are going to suck, it's the same thing over and over, the only difference is they have better graphics then before, big deal. (oh wait I don't want to upset the xbox fanboys the 360 can play media files now too, woohoo...not). I think the Nintendo Revolution is going to kick ass, and I'm not a fanboy of Nintendo either (I do own GC, PS2, and Xbox) but I do think it's going to be the dominating system.
