Just because a game uses the Havoc physics engine doesn't mean that it has good physics. Dozens of games use the Havoc engine, and almost all of them use it better than Halo 2 ever did. Havoc is just a platform, and it's up to the developers to make the objects and apply the physical attributes to them Take Half-Life 2 for example, it uses Havoc and has the most advanced physics ever found in an FPS, or look at Company of Heroes, which also uses the engine quite well. Halo 2 didn't use it that well at all. I'm not saying that Halo 3 won't have good physics, but Halo 2 did not have them.

- zzz@tkz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7As stated, the logo hasn't changed much, but what has changed is fantastic - the texture. As Bungie said, it reflects a war-torn state, removing the glossiness seen in the other two logos. I welcome the change (however small it may be).

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6In my opinion it looks like ***** and that does a good job reflecting the halo series. Halo 2 was one of the most unspectacular games ever. It doesnt have a cutting edge physics engine it didnt have a cutting edge lighting system it was just halo with more details and 2 guns. Hl2 was the real game that should of gotten more attention by the general public than halo 2. Although seeing how it didnt have any commercials like halo2 it fared quite well because true gamers played that.

that said I hate the game there are much better multiplayers out there. And lets face it the single player mode sucks. I played about half the first one and got bored with the corridors that were repeated over and over and over. My biggest beef was that it felt like I was just floating along. The movement was all wrong for a person, it felt like driving a hovercraft. the controls were great for a console FPS, but the levels were pretty bland.. outdoors was good, but whenever you went inside somewhere it was justthe same coridoor over and over.

Is it the online play? That's the only part I haven't had much experience with, and the single player modes seem to be outright boring, with infinitely repeated enemies and rooms.
