Resistance adds almost nothing to the genre, out of most reviews I have read and my own opinion the best part is the wide selection of weapons, and even that is not that magnificent. And don't tell me 16 players max is a joke, Gears of War only support 8 max and it does a pretty damn good job at accommodating it.

Don't get me wrong, it's probably going to be a good game, but they've been hyping it a lot since last E3 and it won't be here until November 2007 which is still 9 months away. The commercial that they did was also way too early since it was about 11 months before the game is released. Heck, if they did no advertising for the game and just announced that it was available in November, it would still be a #1 seller on the Xbox 360.

But seriously, the think I am most excited about in Halo 3 is the level of customizability. Don't like the current gravity setting? You can change it! Don't like the power of the AR? You can change it! Want to run faster? You can change it!
I think Bungie learned gamers like to tweak ever setting of a game from the level of modifications to Halo(I modded a lot of maps for Halo PC. It was very easy to do with Halo Map Tools and it made the game so much more playable and fun(I probably beat the campaign mode like 50 times, tweaking as I went through) - KrazyKoala, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9The first post in the forum (with all the pics and such) is from November. I'm sitting here in my room with a xbox, xbox 360, psone, ps2, gamecube, wii, and a nintendo 64. I like to think that I'm a gamer with a range of systems. I don't believe any of the hype that goes on online.

I believe it to be a very good game and I respect your opinion, however, trolling digg acting like a dick will not get people to change their mind about how they feel about the game. Seriously, there are quite a few games that I believe are of halo caliber, and yes I use halo as a defining line because it changed the way people thought about console FPS. Halo was a turning point in gaming, like quake, doom and the original UT before it. I think that pretty much confirms, contrary to Bungie's official response, that the Brutes will be joining the Spartans and Elites in multiplayer.
