- xBBx, on 10/12/2007, -5/+38I agree. Even though the game itself is said to be exclusive to the PS2, I'm sure the songs will make it to the 360 version in another overpriced pack
- RichLatherX23, on 10/12/2007, -3/+31Sweet, it has Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock"! Now, if only it'd also have Scorpions' "Rock You Like A Hurricane"...
- SmokeN-DC, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25parachute pants ?? well maybe but I recall Spandex as the pant of choice of big hair bands from the 80s
- rsantosis, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22I WANT MY BILLY IDOL
- Mintyfunk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23It needs to come with Big Hair and glamrock make up!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18It's a nice day for a white wedding.
- m2313, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19Early Metallica and some Slayer would be awesome

- xportz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Dio can you hear me?
I am lost and so alone
I’m asking for your guidance
Would you come down from your throne? - usrlocalbin, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17HOLY DIVER!
- 72doubledown, on 10/12/2007, -6/+19If you go Twisted Sister you gotta go "We're not gunna take it"
- uberchaoslord, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14I seriously hope some metallica makes it in here. One would be amazing on GH.
- RichLatherX23, on 10/12/2007, -7/+17If it came with parachute pants it'd be the greatest thing ever.
- SteveMax, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12You know why I know you're gay? You know how a guy's dick tastes like.
- Enchirito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Dio seriously rocks, but the 'as made famous by' makes me nervous...
- m3th0dm4n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Needs more Orion or Master Of Puppets.
Will take Angel Of Death too. Greatest riff of all time. - nicpedersen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Your moms an Androgynous bespandexed wig model
- RobertKC, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@grivad
Motley Crue didn't sing Love in an Elevator, that was Aerosmith.
But Some Girls, Girls, Girls or Wild Side.
Maybe Nothing But a Good Time from Poison.
And more Guns N' Roses and I'm sold. November Rain FTW,. - MechaZain, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Beat It- Michael Jackson = GH:80's is best game of all-time
- Indecision, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6@mintyfunk: Thirty-somethings? I'm 25, and I already want this NOW, DAMMIT. All I needed to see was "Holy Diver." Hell yes.
- Janus67, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8What about A-ha's take on me!
- jull1234, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7I wanna rock. ROCK!

- grivad, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8Hell yes!
I'd love to see:
* Money for Nothing - Dire Straits
* Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden
* Love in an Elevator - Motley Crue
* Walk This Way - Aerosmith
I would just about ***** myself if those songs made it. Good God. - cspivack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'd love to see more Primus, but they aren't '80s. But yeah. Definitely more Rush.
- Shakermaker, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Songs I'd love to see in the 80's edition:
Blondie - Call Me
Clash - Rock the Casbah
Duran Duran - Hungry Like the Wolf
REM - Orange Crush
U2 - Pride
Big Country - big country - TheRingmaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4this game demands Slayer.
- nicpedersen, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Lars would never let a Metallica song be on any form of electronic media other than retail cd.
- NinjaBoy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5This is a very clever plan to convince me to go buy a ps2.
- Roflworthy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I want some early Megadeth on there.
- nstern2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Sorry but it was your title. I would much rather read this one because it has tracks revealed.
It was close but no cigar. - Mintyfunk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6No doubt. Ironically, it'll be a bunch of thirtysomethings (myself included) who'll be really hyped about this.
- stevealford, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4November Rain you say? You actually WANT to play an eleven minute song on GH? I love GH and I love that song... but I would never wish that combination on anyone... I even feel bad for Slash having to play it in real life for that long.
- DevinOlsen, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7wiki link - Since the sites down.

Non Broken, but indirect link
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Guitar_Hero:_80%27s_Edition&redirect=no - kidd3ckz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i already spent 120 bucks on just guitar + 2 games... any more money i spend is gonna be on a mod chip.
- RichLatherX23, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Some more dream tracks I'd like to see: more Van Halen!
"Hot for Teacher" and "Panama" would be great, with "Eruption" being the ultimate unlockable bonus track. - neverend3r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2anyone considering buying guitar hero needs to do it, great party game to play with friends (and family)
"hey grandma come play this!" - AARGH2K, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No RUSH or Primus?
- D4N747, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Untill they put Megadeth, AC/DC and Rush on the track list, I'm not sold yet.
Oh, and there BETTER BE Jukebox Hero on there. It is the quintessential song for this game. - justice7, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2where is the metallica ?? they DEFINED the genre back in the day
- wastern, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5>>You know why I know you're gay? You know how a guy's dick tastes like.
Yes..thats the joke. congratulations. - nicko68, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Is that any more unfair than the XBOX 360 version of GH2 having tracks which the PS2 version didn't?
- Gerz1219, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Yeah, since the graphics are completely irrelevant to Guitar Hero (you spend all your time looking at the frets), couldn't they just release 20 or 30 songs to X-Box Live as a GH2 add-on and price them at $1.50 apiece? Although I have to say, I bought the 360 version of GH2 without doing much research, and I'm a little dismayed at the sheer number of songs that entail pointless 80's shredding as is.
- TonksKC, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Buy it for PS2. Worth it.
- aquamanfelloff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The fact that you want that song out of any song in a whole decade says to all I drive a Miata and love the color fuscia! See were I am going with this?
Slayer, Pink Floyd, or ZZ Top for good music in the 80's for the win! - RichLatherX23, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I guess you won't be buying this game then, dork.
- Pdj79, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Um, November Rain is 9-minutes long, and the first 45-seconds of it is piano solo anyway. Freebird is not much shorter than that and is all sick, non-repetitive soloing in the closing minutes, unlike November Rain's repetitive closing solo.
And besides, that song came out in '91...hardly '80s. - MulanLang, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7FTA:
"The game will feature 30 of the most awesomest songs from your favorite rock era, with some timeless classics, such as:

* Round and Round (as made famous by Ratt)
* I Want Candy (as made famous by Bow Wow Wow)
* Metal Health (as made famous by Quiet Riot)
