- drtyfrnk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19So I'm guessing the "leaked" rumoured tracklistings are correct
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17I play guitar and guitar hero is one of my favorite games. You must be a youtube user with that type a mature criticism...
- Junkyardjim, on 10/10/2007, -2/+111)this news is old news, they were posted at min 2 weeks ago.
2) the whole "learn a real instrument" thing, is ***** stupid, we want to play gh because we cant play guitar, just like someone else would play nhl games because they can't skate. So lets keep the "play a real instrument" comments to a minimum, you only make yourself look like an *****. p.s. i play drums
3) man i cant wait for gh3 and rockband - jiub, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10I'm sortof facing the same thing for PS2 or Wii (already have a GH2 + guitar for PS2 so kindof want to stay on that platform)
Right now the Wii version is supposed to make better use of the Wiimote (the Wiimote plugs into the guitar); motion control, rumble, speaker, etc... That stuff won'texist or be as prevalent in other versions.
I'm just waiting for the final versions to see if the Wii version includes anything else special. - yaryarhumphump, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10I can already play 3 of those songs on my bass, Im gonna suck at them in the game, just like Killing in the name from GH2.... lol
any bets that the devil went down.... is going to be the final track... thats gonna be hellish - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Stop playing GTA and go jack a car and murder a hooker.
- shortarabguy, on 10/10/2007, -7/+16Hey guys, add me so we can play Guitar Hero 3 against each other! My friend code is 4262563224352151562423411266182439824359171281423
... 1338183949564877220930182333. It's easy to remember because of the three threes at the end. - fishbert, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9... but it was a fiddling contest. I'm confused.
- shortarabguy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Stop playing those stupid war games. Join the army.
Stop playing those RPG games, go join up with a bunch of friends and fight dragons in real life.
Stop playing Dance Dance Revolution. Go dance in public and embarrass yourself.
Stop playing that stupid Guitar Hero game and spend several hundred dollars and several years of your life learning how to play the guitar just so that you can play "Helicopter" by Bloc Party whenever you want to. - SilentRamble42, on 10/10/2007, -5/+13I can't even begin to describe how stupid you sound.

- MrFisty, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9So what happened to all the "original" recordings we were promised? I mean, it's not a huge deal, because I thought they did a reasonable job with the covers in previous games. But still, they made this big song and dance about having majority originals, and assuming this list is representative, it's not looking as good as they'd have you believe.
Damn you fake set lists for getting my GH3 hopes up! - nicko68, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Rumour has it it will vibrate during star power and the speaker will be used for when you mess up. That will make it easier to know who messes up during head-to-head competitions.
- danwallace, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Yes they are.
Rawr. - insinuate, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I DO. THANK YOU COME AGAIN.
- MDKAOD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I would agree with you with an exception; Think of this as Guitar Hero I: Redux. GH2's tracklist was far superior to GH1, since the IP split debacle, this is a whole new team working on this project. If the tracklist for "GH4: OMG My Freaking Hands Edition" isn't far superior than GH3, I'll be upset.
All I know is that I want to play Master of Puppets without hacking my Playstation...and Frets On Fire isn't all that great... - phantom_mullet, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Here's a full playlist of the new songs for your listening enjoyment :)

- DiggsOnlyNeoCon, on 10/10/2007, -3/+7Should I be buying this for Wii or 360?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Doing that requires you to play it more than once.
And if I have to sit through another MCR song, I'm going to ***** stab someone in the face. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4You're gonna have to. It costs twice as much.
- Rileyper, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5People who take the time to learn guitar normally don't go anywhere with it as a career, GH is more fun and more leisurely, Grow up lasermission, ITS A ***** VIDEO GAME lay off
- frostyfrog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Cheap pricks ? Do you know what all the record companies might have been demanding for original tracks ? No, you don't. There are many legal complexities and licensing fees involved, and certain companies/bands could have been demanding too large a share of royalties of each sale, cutting into profits too deeply. Most of the time it's probably not about a large, one-off payment. For a game of 70+ songs, even a small royalty for each copy sold would eat away any potential profit ( though clearly not all companies/bands have wanted that, otherwise we probably wouldn't see any master recordings ).
- Buckiller, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3They were indeed.
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Of all the GOOD music on the list, Slipknot is what sells you? Slipknot blows...
- krackajap, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I am excited to see Dead Kennedys and Social Distortion.
- TotalHalibut, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Don't worry, I did it for you.
- nicko68, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3That's what they want you to believe.
- TheMeatball, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Are you aware that "music" is compatible all instruments?
- BlameCanada, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Does anyone know if GH3 will be sold separately(without a controller) or is it going to be bundled only?
- Bossman1086, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Well, 360 version has Xbox Live, but Wii is nice...only version with rumble in the guitar. Pisses me off that they're charging $90 for every platform. Whether you get it on PS3, Wii, 360, PS2, or PC... $90. The Wii version should at least be cheaper....games on Wii are generally $10 cheaper and the guitar has less stuff in it since the Wii remote slips in.
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Did you ever consider that many bands and labels won't sell their royalties at all? Obviously not, ***** tool. And you didn't accomplish anything with your post in the first place. You claim that frosty doesn't know of all the ways to pay out royalties (you don't know that), and you provided no evidence suggesting that you DO know all of these so-called "ways" (hint: you don't and you're a ***** retarded lier with no friends... and your mother's a lesbian).
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I LOVE Eric Johnson. He's such a great guitarist, I was ecstatic when I saw Cliffs of Dover in the list.
- protogenxl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Seconded, why couldn't they just give us more Dethklok
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2*****. If it's credited as the Charlie Daniels version it will be a fiddle duel. Also, there is a guitar in the Devil's band before he takes his turn fiddling. There is no reason that the fiddles can't be transposed onto guitar hero, and when they do it, it's going to be awesome.
- SilentRamble42, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The only problem I have with that is that it's GUITAR Hero... pretty sure that's not a guitar in Devil Went Down to Georgia
- harajukukei, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3dugg for cliffs of dover
- cheddarhead92, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Yeah, these tracks have already been leaked. they even had the whole list at my local Best Buy
- nicko68, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Because eveyone who plays guitar ends up being a professional musician. Good point.
- Shamrock13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That is what I've been saying all along! I've been reading "new songs" for a whole day now, and everytime I look at the song list, it is nothing new.
- Skanadian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Dead Kennedys without Jello Biafra = Sellouts.
- doctorfungi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Or ram up the back of a motorbike and laugh your ass off when the driver goes flying.
- toefer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2RB is actually 170
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That seems really weird to me. But as far as I understand, it's just dedicated to Aerosmith because Joe Perry is playing guitar for some of the in house stuff. Personally, I don't care how many Aerosmith songs there are packed in there as long as just as many other songs as usual are there as well. And some GOOD Aerosmith cuts would be nice, like Walk This Way, Dream On, Sweet Emotion, etc.
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2GH3 is actually 90
- Shirt, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Let There Be Rokk by Freezepop has no guitar at all and it worked out fine in GHII. This song will be freaking awesome.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Dragons aren't real....
