As the hateboys have been saying, Nintendo's system is horribly underpowered compared to the 360 and PS3. Thus, Rockstar faces the choice of developing for both the 360 and PS3 (since the systems are relatively similar), or just for Nintendo's system.
Adding to that Nintendo's problems with 'adult' titles (not a single North American launch title has an 'M' rating), I just don't see a GTA title for the Wii. - vlurk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Yep, there is already more than 1.2M consoles sold which means the user base is already there. Economically (user base VS development cost), it would make more sense to develop a game for the Wii than for the PS3.
On another note, I would buy that game the day it is released if they put some quality in it. - WhereAmI, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Its all up to Take Two. Personally, I think they would do it, for the money.
- martinj88, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3If they did make a GTA for the Wii I'm sure it would be a port of San Andres. Not because there lazy, but the budget and time it will take to develop GTA for the PS3 and 360 would make it almost imposable to create a unique GTA for the Wii.
- sdrawkcaB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think it's great that Nintendo is actually making action in more mature games. Them saying it was one thing but actually going all out to attempt to bring GTA to the system really says a lot.
- mikkaworkscom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Even if they ported SA to it, I would buy it on day one, Just the thought of some GTA action with the wiimote, gives me a chubby ^^
