"I didn’t opt for the extended warranty."
C'mon, its what 32 bucks for a year depending on the store? that would have saved you, oh... $107.00? - DrakeTheRedEye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Big deal, s*** happens. You are not the only one out there.
Why not get a cheap warranty to protect an expensive product? - wildpitches, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Do you think 4 and a half months is an acceptable length of time for a product such as the 360 to last? The concept of requiring an extended warranty before a year is ludicrous and simply flawed.
If this was an isolated incident, I don't think I'd have a big problem with it. The fact is, there are literally thousands of people that are having this issue, and Microsoft is essentially forcing them to pay.
Besides, if the extended warranty was that important to an Xbox360 purchase, why not just incorporate that cost into the product's total cost? Ridiculous, right? Even then, I'd still have to wait a month to get it back.
