- BlackKnight6, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well they said they believe the fix is a good one, but like a lot of the fixes they are making, they are now going through certification (which is making sure it fixes in all cases and doesn't introduce new bugs). Once they feel the update is the best it can be they release it.
Some companies like ol' Ion Storm (Deus Ex) and Looking Glass studios (Thief 1 and 2, only Thief 3 was really buggy) and Remedy/Rockstar (Max Payne 1 and 2) did great fixes and made games almost perfectly stable less than 6 months after release (If not near perfect at launch). As long as Epic doesn't pull something like what EA/Dice did with BF2 or similar bug filled games, I will be happy. - teqonix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1While it's a good hoax, it's still a hoax, so I have to bury this.
