Since Garage and Gamemaker have both been around since Y2K, calling one or the other a clone is kind of silly.
In both cases developers who are just starting out have the option of staying independent. Which I think is important for the overall good of the gaming world. Big Game publishers spend so much on marketing that it stifles creativity by making it too expensive to take big risks on un-proved concepts. - mookieXL, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Looks like Gamemaker clone to me. Just more expensive and with few extras.
