- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5ipodfreek, exactly, these kids don't know what it was like back in the day you beg your parents to take you to see this movie because you have been seeing the commercials of the kid playing mario 3 and the kid with the power glove, which nintendo already convinced you that if you didn't have it and knew someone who did, you might as well kill yourself. So after weeks of begging and pleading that this movie is going to be so awesome, your parents take you and you have to sit through some crap about a freak kid needing to get to california for some reason before he can play mario 3. ALL I WANTED TO SEE WAS THE GD MARIO 3. So when they do show it they show it, it was over before you know it and not worth it at all. Then your credibility for movies is forever ruined and you have to spend the rest of your life watching movies picked out by your brother and sister and never getting to pick anything cool because they always bring up that you wanted to see "The Wizard" so you have to watch Beauty and the Beast and and G rated stuff and not being able to see anything above PG because she said "He touched my breast!" and the horribleness, I can't go on..... You still think this is such a great movie?? HUH??

I remember seeing the movie poster for The Wizard at a mall while I was on vacation. It was on a rotating poster machine. So every minute, the display would flip over and reveal the poster. I remember my heart stopped beating for 4 seconds, and I coughed. A video game movie!!!! seeing all the little sprites surrounding them, and especially Mario flying around, I knew I had to see that movie. When I did, I actually enjoyed it. The whole "road trip" movie was new to me, and getting to go on the journey with the three characters was quite an adventure. Halfway through he said "C'mon lets go next door to the U2 movie." But I wouldn't. I couldn't. I needed a peak at SMB3. He stayed. SMB3 came on the screen and I think I was the only one that really cared.
