GTA IV's Fourth and Final Trailer Released! watch!

1up.com — Just in case leaked multiplayer screens, a possibly real, possibly fake city map, and the announcement of a powerful new online hub weren't enough to get your game-lust raging for Grand Theft Auto IV, Rockstar has just released the fourth and final teaser trailer for the game. The trailer is titled "Everyone's a Rat."

        GTA:SA was not supposed to have all buildings enterable nor have a bigfoot, the first one was just chinese wispers and the latter was a hoax where someone faked a screenshot of a bigfoot. I never read or heard about the developers saying that it will have rag doll physics. GTA:VC did have roller skates, the player just couldn't use them.

          • CrazyChair, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1Different strokes I guess. San Andreas looked a lot better on PC, played smoother and I much prefer aiming with a mouse. Plus there is a lot of fun you can have with modifications and you can always plug in a gamepad.

            My main gripe is with them always releasing it on PC once the game has become old news. I guess it's because of piracy.

      They want to entice you with a good story rather than just goad you in with good graphics/physics. So many games out there are all flash and no story, they have proven time and time again they can be both. Trust them I'm sure you won't be disappointed...

Most articles refer to it as a redesigned LC and leave it at that, but I researched the history of LC in depth and I know that history has set a precedent where it is completely reasonable that in 7 years time LC has been completely reconstructed. It is highly probable someone just blew the entirety of the old city up and they had to rebuild. I only bring this up because I have yet to see anyone do so, and anyone who played the GTA3 generation knows how interweaved the characters were. It seems silly to imagine RockStar would throw all that out. I want to see Donald Love and Claude running LC from high above, and I want to at least know Carl Johnson is out there still kicking ass. Tommy Vercetti's a little old though, so he probably got killed by now.

  • Lanlost, on 03/28/2008, -8/+7This is the first GTA game (and first sandbox-style game) that I've been actually getting excited about since the original GTA 3. I played the original two and enjoyed them and enjoyed the ps2 original the first time I played it. The problem was that I liked it so much that I forgot about the missions and focused on running around doing nothing. I have had this problem every time I played any of the GTA 3 sequels. In fact, the majority (95%+) of the people I know do this as well. Surprisingly, the games stay fun for quite a long time considering I'm not really DOING anything. There just hasn't been enough incentive to do the missions. I really hope that this is fixed in this release. It got so bad that when Vice City and San Andreas came out, I didn't even try the FIRST missions. The freedom is great but it's hard to keep interested after you kill your one thousandth civilian.

The PS2 really limited what they could do with it (don't get me wrong though, the game still rocked). Gameplay is so much more important than graphics, but it still takes away from immersing yourself in a game when it looks like a turd.
