I'd love to know what generic FPS all the haters love playing. Halo 3? Probably. Now THERE'S a ***** game.

- Cenobia, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1To bad the multiplayer sucks too. The whole running around by yourself shooting random people in a sandbox game just doesn't cut it anymore. And GTA felt like half a game. You earn money for no reason, and you can't even go inside 10% of the buildings. I was honestly expecting more from the first GTA this gen. I agree that what they did with the AI/realism is pretty awesome, but that doesn't make a game fun.
Nobody even cares about the DLC. They still haven't told anyone what it is yet. - HappyScrappy, on 11/15/2008, -3/+2What garbage? My 360 RRoDed 3 times, finally I had to replace it at my own expense because MS said the optical drive in the unit they sent me to replace mine was good even though it wouldn't read discs.
The first time mine RRoDed was the day before Emergence Day. This was months after MS said "the 360 isn't failing at a higher rate than normal", and months after MS said "there were a few isolated incidences but we've found the problem." And yet the unit they shipped me as a replacement also RRoDed, proving MS felt no reticence about lying about having found and fixed the problem.
They will say anything to get you to buy a 360, truthful or not. - tr909, on 11/15/2008, -2/+1No game is perfect. There will always be something to nitpick about. So in that case I personally think it deserved 10 out of 10. Maybe the SP part is OK. But they made a sandbox game with a huge chunk of NY with beautiful graphics (for what the console can handle). When you think about the depth that went into that sandbox (decent car physics, gun play, helis, AI, the vastness of the world, etc) it's pretty astounding. This is where I get buried, but I think that if you don't get the full genius of GTA then you aren't imaginative enough to use the sandbox in a rewarding way. The SP is just something to get you started but you have a hell of a world for you to use however you want.
Once it's on PC with mouse and key control it may be damn near perfect then. - UNDERSTAR, on 11/15/2008, -2/+1Pssshh, Saint's Row 2 makes me smile more while playing it then GTA 4.
