- KingGoonie, on 05/08/2008, -3/+1Good Luck suing something that doesn't exist. Let me know what the judge says when you tell him the cause is beign brought up against the Manhattan Transit Authority.
Besides, the arcticle then goes on to say Rockstar is suing the ad agency, not this imaginary authority.- yayintertubes, on 05/08/2008, -2/+2Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority (MaBSTOA) is a subsidiary of the New York City Transit Authority, and exsists. Good luck refuting all the other news sites and blogs that reported on this.
- KingGoonie, on 05/08/2008, -2/+1I don't need to...because the info is wrong on so many levels.
#1 There is no such thing as the "Manhattan Transit Authority". It's the METROPOLITAN TRANPORTATION AUTHORITY (MTA) of the state of new york or even the subsidiary you mention. The Manhattan Transit Authority is a non-existant entity. Come on, you know as well as I do that its some reporter who made an assumption on what the M in MTA stood for.
#2 Ir you go to those news sites and blogs you mention, you will see they are suing the CHICAGO transit authority (the CTA) but they have filed this suit in the federal courts of NY. Again, the CHICAGO transit authority beign sued, not the NYC one, the only thing Manhattan has to do with it is that it was filed in a federal court in Manhattan.

- AvangionQ, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1still amazes me -- people in power listen to FOX news, even when they're clearly on the wrong side of an issue ... such as the continued false attempts to blame video games as the scapegoat of our nation's ills ...
