- Renton, on 10/12/2007, -4/+25While gameplay > graphics may be true, it doesn't mean a game with good graphics can't have good gameplay. Gears of war was an awesome game in itself, the graphics just enhanced the experience. And even though it's short, it has great multiplayer support.

It's been the same story for most of the games and there's been 0 character development across all the games, apart from Midna. Heck, I believe Miyamoto has even said that he doesn't develop Link because he wants the hero to be you.

- WanderLink, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think you need to revise your definition of spam. Ads appear on practically every web page that's dugg. The random ads weren't the reason it was dugg, the reason was the story. And there is info in the story that wasn't in the description, like the titles that were beat by Wii Sports.
- solarstar567, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Why is Wii Sports getting so much credit and love, hey its good for a free game, but all you do is just swing your arm, the tennis doesnt even let you control movement of the player, Boxing isn't that responsive. Baseball is my favorite but is too random and takes no skill(i.e. you can't always get a home run, even though you swung at the same time.) and Golf is ok. Its nothing worth getting an award over.

GOW winning best game doesn't prove graphics make a better game. i would say the gameplay is the first and foremost criteria, which it obviously had. of course the graphics help but i don't think it's the sole criteria. - halicon5, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5That's absurd. I loved Zelda:TP and I was pleased with the writing throughout the game right until Gant throws his little temper tantrum near the end. That scene was embarassingly bad. I'm glad that no one was watching me play at that time, because I think the writing and scripting for that scene was some of the worst I've suffered through in video-game history. How am I supposed to take a villian seriously when he's beating his head on the ground like a spoiled 2 year-old that has been denied his favorite toy? I didn't want to kill Gant. I wanted to ground him and send him to his room.
