- beejay54, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A friend of mine did something similar as a part of his Flash portfolio, used a socket server to do mutliplayer without the need for flash communication server, it was pretty decent. If you're serious about this sort of stuff though Director is the way to go, you can still used Flash, but use Director elements where it counts, like true 3d.

Well, even though the headline was misleading, I was going to digg because it takes time and effort to make a game.

Since when did your opinion decide whether something is spam or not? It may not feel like it to you, but to others, it may feel similar to Counter Strike. It's not like he went totally off the tangent and said something like "Play this new flash game, it's exactly like Madden 2006!"

While that my seem overblown, to me false pretense is false pretense.
And by reading the majority of posts in this thread, I'm clearly not the only one feeling deceived. So why the Counter Strike comparison if not trying to hype it up by claiming it's something it's not?
