- arunforce, on 10/12/2007, -8/+29What?! Linux has games?
- Dempf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Thought this was going to be a lame promotional digg, but alot of those games are pretty cool.
- slicedoranges, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Downloading a few as we speak. :)
- Cyborg771, on 10/12/2007, -10/+22I don't know, maybe because Linux users are a minority, even to Apple users.
- Kazanoe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Didja get 'Catch the sperm'? that one looks especially good.
Catch The Sperm
Simple game but for a worthwhile cause since it is offered as part of the Swiss Anti - AIDS campaign. All you have to do is aim your cannon and fire your condom ammo (left click) at the sperm....
its on page 42. and for that reason, and that reason only, this game must be related to the answer to life, the universe, and everything. - Etheo, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16The MPAA and RIAA is going to have your ass for that.
On second thought... bury this. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Because Digg has a "gaming" category ... and those games have probably been submitted?
- Kazanoe, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Runescape is top of page 37. My oppinion of this site has crumbled.
- RichPowers, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Someone used RPGMaker to create a sequel to Final Fantasy 7. I love these old-school looking RPGs - especially when a fan goes through the work of making them in RPGMaker. I just hope it's a good game...
Also check out Simutrans - a game clearly inspired by the amazing Transport Tycoon series. - Cheeseness, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Some of these are linux compatible (Nexuiz and Legends are, to name one of each of the first two pages).
I expect there's more, but I haven't heard of many of these and haven't had the chance to check any out yet. - jono181, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5That pong game looks sweet just from that one shot.
- GrantTheGr8, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6GameHippo.com is another excellent site for finding freeware games for download. :)
- cogen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Try Penumbra if you like survival horror. little simplistic, but pretty cool.
- NanoStuff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Is there any way to weed out the multiplayer only games from that list?
- VioletArrows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Dear god, I can't stand people who whine that they've seen something already. Good for you. Have you reached the end of the internet yet? You must be already there since you saw this years ago.
Everything is new to *someone*. With that, I hadn't seen this site yet, and I'm interested.
Digging the article. - VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's much better as a physics tech demo.
- Ohwiseone, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5It has Pong YAY:-)
- TrevorBelmont, on 12/31/2008, -0/+1I hope your crappy website goes under you dirty, dirty spammer.
- Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Secret Maryo Chronicles isnt listed that is also for linux but its like a cross between the nes game and the snes game (yes mario is spelled wrong becuse its a clone and to avoid copyright )
- darkinferno9908, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2A nice post for all the cheap people such as myself. Some good games in there too.
- Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1there isnt a vgaa but there are companies that go after distributeing sites
- dmsteg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3At first the digg Nazi wannabe in me said "how'd yet another list of freeware games get on the front page"
But there are a lot of cool games in there I've never seen before.... great find. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This looks like a huge list but megagames has had that list for nearly a decade so some of the games are really old and aren't "classics" or underdogs in any way, shape or form. It also rarely gets updated.
- JRBlack10, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool! I'm diggin it.
- Jasperinteg, on 03/21/2008, -0/+0Cool thanks

- Yonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Awesome! We also have a few highly addictive free games based on some classics on our site at: http://www.tsl-game.com/media/games/
- Recluse, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Gunz: the duel. I'm addicted to this game. I don't even bother with Unreal tournament anymore.
- handeyman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2il stick with http://ViolentArcade.com
- kaffein, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Starsiege: Tribes is not listed... :tisk: :tisk:
There needs to be a site that has a database driven catalog of all free games sortable by various columns AND has a voting system. :) - foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2MPAA RIAA dont care bout games.
Anyway. I do a weekly Gutmann wipe. No evidence here - inactive, on 12/26/2008, -3/+0Here's another great site for downloading free games:
http://www.freepcgamers.com/ - alex288288, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0this is old....they have had that there for years now...nothing to digg about

- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -22/+14Biggest place for Free games
www.thepiratebay.com
and gameburnworld.com - Tricky, on 10/12/2007, -15/+3Basically Bittorrent cracks to get them to run. Same as what I use. w00t.
@Etheo: Does the MPAA/RIAA watch Bittorrent? I haven't heard about that much... - Agret, on 10/12/2007, -19/+5Linux has overtaken Apple market share and your obviously a Mac user as you were too dumb to find the reply button on digg.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -17/+3LOL
- regeya, on 10/12/2007, -15/+0I don't not agree in a negative way.

- Hindu_Wardrobe, on 10/12/2007, -24/+4Bury the above. It lost effect.
