After playing through it all, it instantly became my new favorite game and I began to realize what I had been missing and what all the hype was about. I even carried that stupid little gnome through Episode Two and surprisingly, I (still) had a blast. Needless to say, I can't wait for this installment and ones to follow. Keep 'em coming Valve!

- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -0/+8same here, before playing Half Life 2 when people talked about it I used to think it's just another lame FPS, until I get to play it by chance. I must say it completely changed my standard for a "good" FPS story line.

I doubt we'll be playing it before Christmas 2009 and that's fine by me. That way I'll have something to tear me away from Starcraft 2.

Every notice the naming scheme - like "Half-Life 2: Episode 1" or "Half-Life 2: Episode 2"?
