- Dhruv, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Not worth reading a single line abt the comparision if the writer is a granted 360 fanboy, i remember how many crapped when 360 launched last year, now the console is in good position . Give ps3 time to set up.
- Burmask, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The 360 is more modular and thus makes it more affordable for more families. Smart move by MS, bad move by Sony. Remember folks, Sony cannot manufacture a battery correctly. If you think MS makes proprietary stuff, don't forget what Sony has done:
#1 - Didn't recognize the mp3 format until 2003
#2 - Memory sticks - WTF
Sony's a Bad company that makes bad decisions. What makes you think the PS3 is void of this poor decisions (cell processor)? Time will tell. - Shayer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The usage of too much exclamation points and saying "WTF" every other line makes me not take the review seriously.
Not to mention it's written by a 360 fanboy. - hellblazer55, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That commenter sounds like a PS3 fanboy ha ha ha ha ha, Most hillarious comment ever. Im a electronics junky, does that make me a Tech Head lol
How about the guy that buys a Wii, that would make him a Wii-nee ha ha ha ha - DJBisGOD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yes true, give PS3 time to get moving, but 360 has one hell of a head start on them already.
- forahobby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2A 360 fanboy who bought a ps3 and who is buying a wii?? So how is that a 360 fanboy??.. lol
- shortacid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1My brother and I had a lot of fun unpacking his PS2 when it came out and not one of these unnecessary headaches. I started out life as a NintendoFanboy and eventually transversed to the Xbox after the first night of Halo when the machine debuted. I been privvy to playing these machines on Launchday as with the 360 who my brother only had to wait 12 hours in line to secure (not 8 days for hours of headaches to be gained once the console is plugged in.)
Its caveat emptor when it comes to buying a brand new console, you got take your lashes when it comes to owning a piece of equipment that is in high demand. It will definitely take time for it to come around. I THINK A BIG CLUE was no demo units in store, I hope you all realize they were hiding the software problems/hardware issues from the public like the numbers of launch boxes, and why the mayor of Boston is suing Sony.
With Sony touting all this power, saying it will blow Xbox 360 out of the water. This is one of the situation where SONY released a product comparable to Windows pulling a total switch up on what we have come to know and expect of SONY, glitchy but things will work out after a serious of big updates.
Don't get me wrong, I love my PSP, PS2 was groundbreaking and played a lot of it. It was a great console that broke people into another realm of game playing (nowhere near as defnitive as the N64 brought us into the 3D realm.) Sony I believe bit off a piece a little bigger than they can chew, however that industrial giant will make mince meat of the problems in time and compete with the 360 comparably.
I do however, totally disagree with a light weight controller unless a cord is attached to it to add some more weight to it. I read someone say the SNES controller was light, however it had a cord. It helped.. I can't hold something that is too light, it wears on me and I can't play for very long. I am used to having heavier bulkier controllers that allow my larger hands to contour to nicely.
To xbox fanboys: Sony will get that train rolling soon.
To PS3 fanboys: You know your company won't let you down.
The controller is one of the reasons (which is the same design since PS1) has not been reinvented, granted the boomerang was a bit much, but someting a little more sleek like a ferrari than a boxy audi.
A revolution is needed...lol PS3 will hold its water....But i won't buy it till its price is cut in half. Way too much. Its like buying a NeoGeo back in the day. - rblows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you want to see what a fanboy is, check this out....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEPdRPxR_i0 - meokazi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1that doesnt matter the ps3 ''was'' to be launched last year! they had an entire year to learn from microsofts errors. it shouldnt need an update on launch day! what they should have done is pushed it back until 2007 to work out ''all'' of the kinks. i know! my brother has one, its pretty much a PSP that can do 1080p. it even looks like a psp on the start up menu. my brother seems to be happy with it, he has Genji Days of the Blade, which looks like crap.
