- Wingman007, on 10/12/2007, -2/+47Sweet! Another SimCity game for me fail miserably at!
- TimmyGUNZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23This is one of those games that the stylus will make an already fun game 10x better.
- Shawnosaurus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25AFK to learn Japanese in time for launch!
- superJC, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16I hope it has the same soundtrack as the PC version. SimCity 3000 has the best soundtrack in the series.
- eleven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Yeah count me in. I loved playing sim city - as long as I had the cheat codes. Once it's in english I'll get a copy for my DS.
- Numfar28, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Me, I'm waiting for a version of Civilization on the DS. A nice, simple, 2D version of Civ4 and I could be kept happy anywhere in the world.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I just bought my DS Lite 2 days ago, and everyday i feel better and better about buying it.
Cant say that bout the PSP. - BufordT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I still have SimCity 2k songs get stuck in my head out of the blue every now and then. I haven't played it for years.
- NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1110x better than mouse/keyboard, or 10x better than the dpad from the gba one?
- PabloIV, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I might be wrong but I believe that all of Sim City's music is by Mark Mothersbaugh (I think I got that right) from Devo fame. He also did the soundtracks for the Sims, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Rugrats, as well as tons of random other TV, movie and VG music. Most of his post-Devo stuff really rocks, what he did for the Zissou soundtrack is awesome.
- dshPls, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I don't own DS, but this is almost enough to get me to buy one, I loved SC 3000
- bbear, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11"10x better than mouse/keyboard, or 10x better than the dpad from the gba one?"
Yes. - heysuburbia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6flickr:

- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The tiny anime version of Will Wright on the bottom screen is just priceless :)
I really, really hope this comes to the US - streetstealth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4F-U-N-D.
Ah, much better now. - NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'd like Warcraft/Starcraft
- aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5All around the world when this game is out, people will be spending at least an extra 10 minutes in the bathroom more than necessary ;-)
Things like this and the Opera Browser make me not regret getting my DS Lite - RichPowers, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I agree - SimCity games have great music. In fact, I have the entire SC3k soundtrack on my iPod. Anyone know what type of "genre" the SC music falls under (jazz?) because I want more of it :)
- lchanmanl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4my work blocks game sites =(
someone imageshack them - fabiopsousa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3nice!
with this I'm considering acquire one DS Lite - tarmithius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I just want to say I love the cartoonish yamamba on that page, if you are not sure of what a yamanba looks likes do a image search in Google.
Saying that I think it does not look too bad for being on such a small screen. Hopefully it plays as well as it looks without all the micromanagement screens. - Steve1496, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Mirror of image:

"Hey, Mayor, so like, for me, I'd sooooo want some higher education..." - earthtoandy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I am gonna burst, I want it now.
All this news on games to be released in the future kills me. For instance Spore, I have to sit back and just forget otherwise the wait would drive me crazy - tarmithius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well the name may have changed since I left Japan (will have to ask the wife who is Japanese), but the look is very similar. I always got a kick out of seeing them when in Tokyo.
- tarmithius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2After asking the wife and doing a little searching I would say they are all the same, with slight differences, although my wife could not explain adequately enough, but it has to do with the district they are from. For example in Shibuya they are known as gyaru.
- bigtrouble77, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3So it looks like the game is played on just a flat plane??? I guess no more volcano cities for me. :(
- maxsunset, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Now that's a perfect game for the DS! That and The Phantom Hourglass... Aww yeah
- DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Ok, what is the difference between yamanba, ganguru and gyaru? Everytime I see one of these girls, they are called by a different style.
- kehvin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2mirror for the work-firewall impaired?
- eskay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Is that guy in the glasses supposed to be will wright?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Since when are Simcity games made in Japan? I know it doesn't say this but seriously Winter in Japan, Undecided for US? Could it be more obvious?
So the Maxis folks are too busy with "Sims - Yes, another DAMN SIMS game" ? - streetstealth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2SC3K had quite a nice soundtrack, but the greatest of all Maxis games was The Sims soundtrack. TS1's soundtrack was like some kind of chai latte for the soul... So soothing, so delicious. Mothersbaugh is the Miles Davis of PC gaming.
Not only did I listen to that soundtrack repeatedly on my MP3 player, I added it as custom tracks in Sims 2! - ludz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It might just be me, but I think it looks more like SimCity 2000 than 3000.
- phenolholic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2don't you love japanese advertisements? looks lke something in a bubble gum wrapper.
- motang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Get the back one, which is suppose to coming out this month.
- WeeklyGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2looks fantastic!
- superfunkypants, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2When you do learn Japanese you can probably buy it from liksang.com.
I just bought the Japanese talking cook-book for the DS from them, received it in little over a week with free shipping. - motang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Have you taken a look at Settlers, it is suppose to be coming out for the DS.
- nmaster64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Is that a little chibi version of Will Wright?
OMFG, sold. - motang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yep, and the it does look like Will Wright.
- Destinatus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What's the screenshot in the banner from? looks sexy.
EDIT: nvm, image properties helps. Answer: MGS4 - diversionmary, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just one large picture.
http://diversionmary.com/albums/misc/afe.jpg - Numfar28, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That'd be cool too, yes. C'mon designers, give us our mouse-driven PC classics and put that stylus to good use.
- sovereign3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you are able to read the Japanese, the game is being created by Electronic Arts. Maybe they're just releasing a Japanese version of the game.
- eth3l, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2mirror? work fire wall says : NO ENTRY!
- jvardrake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I don't understand why this is being released in Japan, either. I didn't think that the Sim City games were made by a Japanese company. Perhaps the company making it just doesn't think it would sell well in the US, so they are going after the Japanese market instead?
- hansamurai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Where's Cooking Mama!?
- tvelocity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hm, since there is a market for a Sim City game for the DS, maybe I should get my hopes up for Transport Tycoon Deluxe? That would rock so hard :)
