- gebx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23You must live with your parents... Adding 10$ on top of another $59 ($69 canadian) is not affordable.
If anything you should get free MS points everytime you purchase a game. Even as little as 100 points a game. - xerus, on 10/12/2007, -7/+23***** microtransactions. I'm tired of this *****. I feel like developers make the game, give us half of it for 60 dollars, then make us pay out the ass for the rest of it.
- dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11He's probably one of those assclowns that actually bought the song packs for GH2 and the stupid armor horse.
- Blandyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10It's horse armor, and it ***** R0X!!
/sarcasm - RoroCo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11Xerus... please stop with the blind corporate hate. Blue Dragon is 3 DVDs of content and I believe it is well over 40 hours of gameplay. This is not a case of a company taking content away from this game just to sell it to you at a later date. I hate micro-transactions as much as the next guy, but this time it was implemented fairly.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Great news! I am really looking forward to Blue Dragon. Finally a great RPG for the Xbox 360. They've been needing one pretty badly.
And then think we have:
Lost Oddesy
Too Human
Mass Effect
Trusty Bell
These are all some great games. - sourwood, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4The real question is; will I be able to send my creation to my friends?
- djSyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7It's entirely possible that the dungeon creator will come on the disc when the game is released in the US.
But I agree: microtransactions are ruining console gaming. And MS is at the forefront of the charge. - Toast1185, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Fable 2 too...eventually
- panadaden, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I can't wait till it gets to US
- shoover, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Since I finished GoW, my 360 is collecting dust waiting for these games...
And somewhere along the line, Halo 3... - glind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ha! I was wondering if anyone would post that. I was thinking MS had bought New Atlanta or something.
- honeyboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The problem with downloadable content is that game developers will start leaving things out of games that they normally wouldn't in order to make a few extra bucks. If you don't think this going to happen then you must be very naive.
- ed2hip, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3anyone else think this had to do with the CFML engine??
- LesterKing, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4You forgot Assassin's Creed
- knodi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Can't wait for this game to hit US.
- sourwood, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Other companies include this in the game.
- edrift101, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Excellent! Now if they would just get it onto the store shelves so I can buy it already...
- teamparadox, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3People complain about paid content and its kinda silly. 99% of this content is stuffed that wouldnt have made it into the game. They start making the content after they send it to cert, or its stuff that they couldnt fit into the dev time alloted so they work on it and finish it later and then charge a bit extra for it.
If you dont want it, then dont buy it. I agree some of the pricing is whacked out but this is a new area for gaming and over time it should sort itself out...I hope.
The first Xbox has the promise of DLC, tons of games supported it but most of them never put anything up to download because even small content cost money to make. Programmer get paid, testers get paid, artists get paid and if they are working on making new content instead of new ip the company needs to recoup the payroll somewhere.
Will I pay for a random dungeon maker? Maybe, maybe not. I need more details before I do, hell I need to own the game before I decide too so why whine now? Could they include this content in the game? Maybe, but honestly the game is done and shipped in Japan so all they are doing for our version is dialog changes...which means they dont have the Blue Dragon team working on the localization efforts. The Blue Dragon team probably made this content weeks after the game shipped in Japan therefore its not on the USA disc either.
Am I making excuses? Maybe! As a gamer I hate paying extra as much as everyone else...which is why I only buy content I see value in. Like the GRAW expansion, Shivering Isles etc. I'll never buy those GH2 song packs at $6.25 a piece...I dont see value. Vote with your $$$ but remember once you buy the points, MS has already made their money. - popothebright, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Meh... I've never cared for "cute" adventures.
- djSyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -9/+6RTFA. 300 MS points. $3.75 if you're in the US.
If that's too much for you, then you probably shouldn't own a 360. - acurism, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5@gebx
No, he is just the biggest MS fanboy on the planet. - Ovenall, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0I don't understand the appeal of games where you play as a bobble-headed kid.
- Incom, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4yes
- caddyalan, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1That's an interesting idea for expanding the game. But will it cost too much?
- wageslaven, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2Microsoft has some of the best value for DL content. New product, at the price other companies charge for stuff you might already own.
Microsoft Marketplace is down right cheap.
