Final Fantasy XII sold 5.2 million worldwide on the PS2 and that was during the time when the PS3 and 360 had only been out for 1-2 years. FF13 will be the 1st FF game released on the current generation consoles.

- Natnie, on 10/01/2009, -0/+6It was the lack of character interaction and growth I couldn't stand about XII. X might have been a cutscene-a-thon but at least it lead me to give a crap about the characters. I hope XIII develops its characters and relationships well.

Close, but you'd have to import. Only makes a difference if you also watch BD movies though since games are region free. Besides, a lot of the people complaining haven't liked the series since 6 or 7, and nothing is going to change their minds. Most of the other complaints come from people who just didn't like 11 (since it was a MMO) and 12 (since it was a basically single player MMO). This game seems to fix a lot of the problems with 12, due to going back to a more traditional combat system and not getting screwed up in development because of a sick/unhappy director. - furatail, on 10/01/2009, -1/+3They better think long and hard before releasing this game. It better be gold. Most have lost faith in the FF series by now. If the fans experience another major disappointment, they may never go back.

- Neolite, on 10/01/2009, -3/+4I hate to sounds like a fanboy but @mywhitenoise pretty much summed it up for me. I'm not saying I hate the 360, it has it's good and bad points. The only thing that I would really buy a 360 for is Gears of War 2, only because it isn't on PC. This is coming from someone who played GoW1 and thinks it's up there in the top 10 best games ever.
Not really a Halo fan and wouldn't mind playing Fable 2. But honestly I'll take the best Blu-Ray player on the market and the upcoming PS3 exclusives(Uncharted 2, God of War 2, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy vs XIII(which might not be exclusive closer to release date)) over the 360. - Ikulus, on 10/01/2009, -0/+1If only they'd release the Limited white PS3 with the FFXIII design...

Both consoles are the same price, except you're not paying $50 a year for ads and to play online, you don't have to pay $100 for wi-fi, and you get blu-ray with a PS3. Not to mention you can share all your DLC on up to 5 PS3s...oh and there's that whole RROD thing. I'll take Uncharted, Warhawk, Metal Gear, God of War, Gran Turismo, Ratchet & Clank, inFamous, Killzone 2, The Last Guardian, and Valkyria Chronicles over all those "exclusives" on 360. - Georgy, on 10/01/2009, -1/+2Same number of diggs and the same users, how is this possible...
