- SpeedSteamBoat, on 06/08/2009, -1/+53The only thing worse than these games? The profoundly unfunny commentary of the 15-year-old boys playing them.
Their failed attempts at comedy were bad enough, but the fact that they are too young to remember when these games were supposed to be state of the art makes it especially obnoxious. At that point it's like me taunting the Apple IIe for being inferior to modern technology. I have no contemporary understanding of how good or bad it actually was at the time, so I should probably just keep my mouth shut about it or else risk sounding like these asshats. - skybark, on 06/08/2009, -0/+51umm....no superman 64? that's on everyones worst list.
- thedanielrecord, on 06/08/2009, -1/+39would have been better if it had just game play video rather than a bunch of ranting 15 year old kids "reviewing" the games
- excalibre, on 06/08/2009, -0/+27Those kids narrating those videos were pretty horrible.

MLB 2K9 - Colmillionaire, on 06/08/2009, -1/+21sinking baseball players?
i dont know what to say other than....badass - OhROFL, on 06/08/2009, -0/+20Pokemon Snap was awesome. There is no denying that fact.
- ManUnitdFan, on 06/08/2009, -0/+17You think they're as old as 15? You're far more generous than I.
- babylonian, on 06/08/2009, -0/+13In case anyone hasn't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25bjSoyXlw0
absolutely CRAZY guy obsessed with Bubsy 3D. apparently spent "500 hours" exploring level 2 alone. - Dragular, on 06/08/2009, -0/+12Wait, wtf? I'm only two into the list and I'm seeing problems.
In regards to Castlevania 64: "Case in point being that every title before and since has been a side-scroller." Two Castlevania 3d games on PS2 that I remember.
In regards to Robin Hood: "basing a video game on a rather popular film..." watch the video. This is a 1984 game. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves was early 90's. ... and the game based on it, for the NES, was awesome. - mattmacneil, on 06/08/2009, -0/+11"Everyone loves the Muppets, right? I mean who isn’t immediately taken in by the exploits of talking socks?"
Muppets weren't socks. What an idiot. - serobill, on 06/08/2009, -1/+11God I remember Bubsy 3-D, it not only destroyed a (arguably) decent franchise - it also became the template for game designers of what NOT to do when programming a 3-D world.
- nastri83, on 06/08/2009, -0/+10That MLB 2K9 video at the end is incredibly hilarious.
- DrCyclops, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9The best part of this article is the video that accompanies the entry on "Uncanny X-Men." A kid with a voice more soporific than Steven Wright demands to be called "WTF Gamer" then grants the world pearls of insight such as "Well, since Wolverine is the main character... well, he appears to be... with the most power and everything... I'll take him... and I guess I'll pick, I don't know... Cyclops, because he's, um... one of the main characters..."
Stream of consciousness retro video game reviews. Awesome. - PVanderVossen, on 06/08/2009, -1/+10We totally had that E.T. game growing up, and thought our game was broken. We could never understand it. I feel like somebody owes my parents some money now.
- camino262, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9I thought the Ghostbusters game for the NES would have made the list. That game was horrible. I could never get up the stairs. Instead of using the d pad, they made you press the A button for each step, and you had to go 20 flights.
- Bennymoth, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9Was it me or the people who reviewed these were just as annoying as these games, the guy who talked about Bad Boys: Miami Take Down, gave me a headache
- Deemun, on 06/08/2009, -2/+10E.T. was terrible.
I remember renting "The Crow"(Don't judge me) for Playstation and returning it within an hour. Bad Game. Baaaaaaad game. - Farmer77, on 06/08/2009, -0/+8No Big Rigs
No Superman 64
Inexcusable. - Haoie, on 06/08/2009, -3/+11E.T was the catalyst for the great video game crash of the early 1980s.
And what a crash it was. - Neiliosullivan, on 06/08/2009, -0/+7I just sold a copy of E.T. on Ebay. Nothing like getting cash from trash.
- ElGubrush, on 06/08/2009, -0/+7Did anyone else get the "how to make electricity at home ad" that just points to a bunch of pictures of hot chicks making out and think "If they've discovered a way to convert the mechanical energy of masturbation into storable electrical energy, we might just have solved the energy crisis"
hmm... I suppose it would require some sort of solenoid, and... well if there was a way to magnetize a penis I suppose...
no, no, that's just silly - kenhatesemos, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5umm i actually liked castlevania 3d. i know it was a guilty pleasure on my part and it wasn't a great game, especially in comparison to the side scrollers that came before it, but i really doubt it deserves to be on the worst games of all time list.
- Pyrrhuloxia, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5There were at least 2 3D Castlevania games on the 64. When I saw that mistake I stopped reading because it was obvious this writer hadn't done her/his research.
- bimbom, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5Apple ][e was soooo good. oregon trail and carmen sandiego ftw
- number5, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5I dont care how bad it is there is no way MLB 2k9 can be worse then E.T., also it look like he was outputting from a psp to a TV.
- themastersb, on 06/08/2009, -0/+4Bubsy was an awesome 2D game. I thought it never even saw the light of day on a 3D console.
- DelMonte, on 06/08/2009, -0/+4Bubsy 3D looks like something out of an extremely bad FX-Chip game on the SNES.
- atticus8, on 06/08/2009, -0/+41) Yes, they were all "I'm embarrassed at myself for watching this"-level terrible.
2) Sorry urrelles, but the Badboys guy was the worst. I fast forwarded it three times and each time I heard him say "***** game ***** sucks". And the article says of this guy: "he is poetic". - Freezingmoose, on 06/08/2009, -0/+4Oh man, Awesome Possum. That game was ridiculously stupid, and here I thought I was the only one who had ever played it. I remember my sister buying it from a bargain bin in a department store that had no business selling Sega games. Horrible mistake...
- Urrelles, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3Exactly what I was thinking. These games were bad, but some were not truly the worst. Robin hood looked like your standard Atari game to me.
- tgc1, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3I saw a copy of it the other day for 2 dollars. Hahahahaha.
- cerealjynx, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3I thought Bubsy 3D was going to rock. I loved the first game, and followed the development of this crazy 3D Bubsy game. I told people it would probably be better than Mario 64. :(
For me it is the second most worst game ever. First place being Deadly Towers. The only game I owned when I finally got an NES. (Everyone else has SNES.) - antdude, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3My older friend understood the gameplay and showed me. The game was still lame. :)
What about Raiders of the Lost Ark on Atari 2600? Sheesh! - Lazydriver, on 06/08/2009, -1/+4Skip the article and just watch the Angry Video Game Nerd.
- LethalLink, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3Superman 64
- Coffeedemon, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3No Superman 64? Wasn't that "hailed" as the worst game ever made when it was released?
- bigthree, on 06/08/2009, -1/+4The original Blade for XBox was awful..just Blade running up a garage killing vampires -- that's it nothing else - one setting
- Zoshchenko, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3Night Trap was wonderful - at least it was in my warped 1992 brain.
- Elranzer, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3This website is horrible. WTF is Gunaxin suppossed to be? It strikes me as a total poser attempt to copy Maxim or Stuff Magazine into a website.
- hudspeth, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3Correct
- modpancake, on 06/08/2009, -1/+4http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jordan:_Chaos ...
- Gibletoid, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3Im going to make some lists of things.
Then I am going to post compilation lists of these lists.
Then later I will posts a list of all the lists of compilations of lists, and I will post them all on one page.
This article also has seen the light. You want to not be buried, be on one page. - Phroday, on 06/08/2009, -0/+3Buried for a lack of Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde or Superman 64. Its just not right.
- ilikedemoon, on 06/08/2009, -0/+2Even them old Atari and NES games were fun once.
- Urrelles, on 06/08/2009, -0/+2seriously. The only decent reviewer was the guy reviewing Badboys, but even he got my nerves after a while. All of them just spew the same ***** over and over wile they play.
We know the possum talking is stupid, you told us that 10 times already now. Stop raging about it! - themastersb, on 06/08/2009, -0/+2It's one of those generic songs used over and over again like Requiem for a Dream.
- praisethelard, on 06/08/2009, -0/+2That was hilarious.
- robbiedo, on 06/08/2009, -0/+2Dana Plato...that was awesome!
- JudgeMonkey, on 06/08/2009, -0/+2And even if you do think 2 and 3 were "***** up", to put them on a list labeling them the worst, is just showing that your an idiot.
