This news is basically telling PC gamers that they will get some sh*t console ports months and months after the console gamers get theirs. - retrovertigo, on 07/25/2008, -5/+11I don't blame them for going console -- it's harder for piracy on consoles to hurt their overall sales, and we all know how devistating PC gaming piracy was for Crysis. Plus, let's be honest, UT3 didn't exactly sell all that well on the PC (or the consoles for that matter). But with the Gears of War franchise being such a big hit for Epic on Xbox 360, it just makes sense from a business standpoint.

"Microsoft's successor for the Xbox 360, Sony's successor for the Playstation 3--and if Nintendo ships a machine with similar hardware specs, then that also...PCs will follow after that."
So PCs are behind the Wii now (even though it might not be able to handle the tech) and this from the companies that got their start on PCs? Keep turning your back on us *****... we only got you started after all.

- amenic, on 07/25/2008, -0/+4I'm playing GoW PC and it's a ghost town. Mostly guys from Europe that barely speak english (they kick some ass in game though):
a.) Games for Windows Live = Half assed, it looks like a port from the 360 version with horrible resolution and stripped down graphics. Maybe better now that its free? I like how the game lets you host "gold only" games. Give us a break M$.
b.) You CANNOT type in the game. I repeat. In an online game for PC, you cannot use your keyboard to type. However, the headset just 'works'.
c.) You can play Shadowrun PC vs 360 players, but for some strange reason they made it so you could not with GoW PC? Epic.
d.) Go to metacritic.com and check the score (user score) for all these epic PC titles - especially GoW. - latova, on 07/25/2008, -0/+4Console gaming isn't about quality gaming. It's about pumping out something that shiny and pretty and then immediately making the second iteration of the same game, because console owners will buy anything that looks remotely like a game they've previously enjoyed.
