- DeviantDragon, on 11/27/2007, -2/+94It's a mobile game so nobody will play it and even if the gameplay consisted of eating babies no one will be affected and the greater public will still not give a *****.
- wordfan, on 11/27/2007, -2/+36Why the ***** would I read that? Maybe it gets to a point eventually, but there are three paragraphs of boring, cliched pablum that don't make any attempt to establish any sort of a thesis. It's like something a Freshman would write for class.
- hermizzle, on 11/27/2007, -0/+14Isn't their already a Bratz mobile game out?
- christoast, on 09/04/2008, -4/+16People should be free to make any kind of game they want, controversy is for religious fanatics and stupid people. Don't like it? DON'T ***** BUY IT.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+12thanks for reading it for me
- snuffulupagus, on 11/27/2007, -1/+12Ooh I wanna play...emulator anyone?
- LStone, on 11/27/2007, -1/+12I don't see how this effects girls. The only people who would play this are creepy dudes anyways....
- acu8509, on 11/27/2007, -1/+11you forgot the cos(0)
- pussieLicker, on 11/27/2007, -2/+12wow, i'm not gonna lie, this game sounds really cool. drugs kickass
- jon30041, on 11/27/2007, -3/+11It's a game, so... I guess I'm supposed to like it... but... girls are crazy enough already, why give them ideas to turn themselves into train wrecks? And, on that note...
WOOO! HEROIN! - tomwhughes, on 11/27/2007, -2/+10wow you could make some serious money off that idea!
- rheaume, on 11/27/2007, -1/+7As someone in the industry, there is nothing some of us care more about than money. They don't give a flying ***** about you or anybody else, they'll make a game about raping babies if it breaks the top 10. And well, here is a prime example.
- laxdude238, on 11/27/2007, -3/+8what is this world coming too.
- insomniac8400, on 11/27/2007, -0/+5Was there even a game in it? I just couldn't keep reading after a few sentences.
- ThatOtherGirl, on 11/27/2007, -1/+6Yeah yeah- freedom of speech, capitalism, blah blah rah rah.
Seriously though, as the step parent of a tween girl, holy crap is she assaulted with consumerism, entitlement, and general bitchiness from all angles- one of which is the Disney Channel. Some kids are more mature than others, emotionally and whatnot, and those that are less emotionally mature (I'm thinking the tweenage years) don't need more bad ideas or outlets for bad behavior. GTA is obviously a "fantasy" game- I doubt very much that any but the most previously twisted mentalities would be prompted to go kill a hooker from the example, but do "normal" tween/teen girls really need more prompting to lie, cheat, steal, and otherwise be a total bitch than they already have? I'm sick when I'm around that crowd- what a bunch of self centered twits. I hope to god they grow out of it.
If it's 18+, whatever floats your boat. Under that, no way (and no, I don't give two ***** about the drug use- it's the other morally reprehensible crap). - Identity4, on 11/27/2007, -1/+6hm...i dont know....it sounds like this game offers EXACTLY the sort of skill sets girls (and humans in general) need to succeed in life: Stealing, Bribery, Social Misconduct, Lying, Manipulation, and extortion. Life skills FTW!
- thesparrowband, on 11/27/2007, -1/+6ahaha i remember the rainbow party story. parents were actually concerned here.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_party_(sexual ... - Tsen, on 11/27/2007, -1/+5Too late. http://www.wired.com/techbiz/media/news/2003/04/58 ...
- kubedawg, on 11/27/2007, -0/+4Amen to that, and if the parents are worried that little Tommy is gonna go play it at his friend's house, then GROUND HIS ASS until he realizes you REALLY don't want him to play that game. Parents lack responsibility. They practically give their children to doctors and let em have at em with drugs like Ritalin or Adderal... That's what we need, less violence in video games, and more pill-popping junkies when our kids grow up....
Idiots should not be allowed to have sex, and by that, I mean, they're probably forget the condom and get pregnant cause they're too stupid to realize contraception is not 100% full proof. - oilcan, on 11/27/2007, -1/+4genius. pure genius.
- Chaulis, on 11/27/2007, -1/+4Sounds silly to me, real life works so much better.
- psykiv, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3I thought I was the only one who thought it was so badly written that I stopped reading after a few paragraphs. I came here looking for cliffnotes :(
- Remmy, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2Dugg for the author being old enough to know about Heathers.
- curtisdead, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2this could beat wow as a mmo.
- RedHairedMan, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2And once they're all turned into under-age sluts who will do whatever you want for a few bucks so they can get some coke, Chris Hansen will have his hands full with all the guys coming out of the woodwork for the easy, underage poon.
Good play, Dateline, good play. - NSMike, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2I'm still waiting for Bratz Chernobyl.
- SenatorPenguin, on 11/27/2007, -1/+2lim x->0 (sinx/x)!!!!!!
- tehxen3, on 11/27/2007, -1/+2So?
- Arcadian, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1The pixel girl reminds me of one of Afterlife's EMBOs.
Second, I don't get the logic behind, "why would someone want to play a game that reminds them of high school?" Especially in light of The Sims. Some people just don't have a clue. - arctorkogi, on 11/27/2007, -1/+2Rainbow parties happen my friend. Sure, girls rarely come, but it can still be fun.
- crossmr, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1"in the industry" oh let us bow before your great might janitor #6 at some lowly developer's office..
- zachshmack, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Dugg for the Heathers picture.
- walkerj, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1What's the problem? This is clearly a satire that warns against and ridicules “stealing, sexual dalliances, drug use and gossiping." It seems positive.
- eeleiko, on 12/11/2007, -0/+0Its released in Oz now - all the info is at http://www.coolestgirlinschool.com
- shatteredshards, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0I get that they had to make a girlie-equivalent of GTA, but come on.
I'll stick to my combat sim, thanks. - Nat3r, on 11/27/2007, -3/+3why is this bad? its how you become popular in school anyways..
- xXIrsotehkewlXx, on 11/27/2007, -1/+1Real life?
I don't recall knowing what that's like anymore.
:(
Anyway, The game doesn't teach girls to be whores...
High school does a good enough job of that without the help of a video game. - acidacid, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0Mobile games dont actually need a classification in Australia - where the game was made. Don't blame the makers of the game for pushing the boundaries, I know the developers and they WANT a 18+ rating but can't enforce one!!
http://www.coolestgirlinschool.com/ - mydave, on 08/01/2008, -0/+0it's phone game and I think nobody will play it.
http://search.ashtech.info/games - llTheLotusll, on 11/27/2007, -1/+1Why is this a big deal? Remember the game "Bully" which seems like the boy version of this game. So what?
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -3/+2Bitch Barbie kit anyone?
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -2/+1it's a new way the main character can shoot drugs
- Knullare, on 11/27/2007, -3/+2That last sentence is the only universally true generalization.
- drib, on 11/27/2007, -2/+1That's just an awesome comment through and through.
- rheaume, on 11/27/2007, -3/+1Yeah you're right, whats wrong with filling the world with pollution, both moral and chemical, when jesus will come down and save us all one day, right Texan3?
USA! USA! USA! - satx, on 11/27/2007, -25/+13ZOMG! WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!!!!!!11111ONEONEONEELEVEN
