EA Tells Jack Thompson to Take a Flying Leap
kotaku.com — Last week Jack Thompson offered to assist EA in their buy-out of Take-Two. Today EA says, hell no.
- 2083 diggs
- digg it
- ChinezePanda, on 03/06/2008, -3/+91Today has just become a National Game Industry Holiday.
I await Jacko's ***** up and childish response... in 3.... 2....- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -1/+113Its not a holiday until Jack gets disbarred.
- KibibyteBrain, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3Unfortunately, they have had trouble disbarring him because he pulls shenanigans so unbecoming of a lawyer, its hard to claim he was acting as an attorney while committing them.
It doesn't matter, Jack is pretty much out of business anyway. Even the most extreme anti-videogame peers of his want nothing to do with him lest he poison any hope their crusades have of succeeding. Being endorsed by him is like being endorsed by Nixon.- misterdrumz, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2He doesn't need disbarring, he's basically done that himself and now makes a mockery of himslef and his "profesison" with every word he utters
- TheReport, on 03/06/2008, -1/+2I would go as far as to curbstomp the ***** tool GTA style.
- jbklego, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2The Florida Governor's office ***** hates Thompson. He sends them a new letter every week demanding that the state do something about video games. They've actually got a binder full of them that they keep around the office for when somebody's pissed off.
- KibibyteBrain, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3Unfortunately, they have had trouble disbarring him because he pulls shenanigans so unbecoming of a lawyer, its hard to claim he was acting as an attorney while committing them.
- dinostabOMG, on 03/06/2008, -1/+15Ha, yeah. Did they really have to be so polite?
- dafragsta, on 03/06/2008, -0/+11no sense in fueling his death rattle into a feigned second wind. He doesn't need the credibility of being acknowleged. Make it sound as boring as HR calling to say you didn't get the job and why. (Though that rarely happens.)
- MacEnvy, on 03/06/2008, -0/+9And then discretely leak it to the media, making you seem like "the good guy" to your customer base, but still putting forward a professional edge that your stockholders will appreciate. Sounds like a good plan to me.
- Icelightning, on 03/06/2008, -1/+8Yes. Their smackdown is 1000 times more hilarious because it's "polite". It's a thing of beauty: short, simple, and to the point.
- dafragsta, on 03/06/2008, -0/+11no sense in fueling his death rattle into a feigned second wind. He doesn't need the credibility of being acknowleged. Make it sound as boring as HR calling to say you didn't get the job and why. (Though that rarely happens.)
- Pillage, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1I love Jack and Drew's correspondences.
- Kwipper, on 03/06/2008, -0/+4Am I the only one who finds Jack Thompson as a source of entertainment? I think that his retarded antics of fail are a hilarious source of comedy.
- shegs, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2what sucks is that no matter how much we think his antics are comical, as long as the general population of naive Americans trust his judgment, games will never be fully accepted as a legitimate entertainment medium.
- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -1/+113Its not a holiday until Jack gets disbarred.
- xBBx, on 03/06/2008, -2/+51What an awesome response from EA to JT. I think the only thing missing from that letter was "FUUUUUUUUCCKKKK NOOOOO!", but I guess EA has to uphold some kind of professionalism. But it really would have been the icing on the cake.
- chinpo, on 03/06/2008, -1/+16I think "with all due respect, you can SUCK MY BALLZ" was missing as well.
- YellowSnowDemon, on 03/06/2008, -2/+10Just because you said "With all due respect" doesn't mean you can say whatever you want about me.
- Trax91, on 03/06/2008, -2/+1Dugg up for Talladega Nights reference.
- chinpo, on 03/06/2008, -1/+16I think "with all due respect, you can SUCK MY BALLZ" was missing as well.
- sathias, on 03/06/2008, -1/+82"We feel that your past statements - including false claims about content in our games - make any collaboration with you impossible."
haha thats going to eat him up when he reads that :) I'd put money on an EA game getting into JT's sights in the near future. - neiltc13, on 03/06/2008, -115/+1Jack Thompson is right about one thing though - the US video game ratings system is broken.
It's currently 100% legal for a child to buy Manhunt 2 in the USA. That's a child of any age, 6 months or 5 years or 15 years. Why is this? Surely we can see that this game has the potential to harm the child (whether that be through provoking them into performing an action on another person, themself or just causing them trauma) so why on earth is it legal for them to buy it?
The argument that "parents control what kids play" falls flat on its face in the USA because parents don't need to be there when a child buys a game. If it's legal for a kid to buy Manhunt 2 then they could buy it and play it without their parents ever knowing a thing about it.
In the UK it's illegal for a retailer to sell a BBFC age rated game to a child, illegal for a child to try to buy it and illegal for anyone to buy it on the child's behalf. This is an exemplary system for the rest of the world - there are no legal shootouts in the UK regarding who is responsible when a child blames video games for their actions because it is always clear who is in the wrong when a kid gets their hands on an unsuitable game.
Thank you Jack Thompson for bringing this issue to light. I hope someone can do something about it. The ESRB is a joke.- ntlpunk, on 03/06/2008, -1/+56except most (if not all) retailers won't sell an M rated game to anyone under the age of 17 without a valid ID or if a parent is present, so no, you're post is a joke.
- BearinG, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1All that's needed is stores that enforce those ratings by asking for ID.. same as buying movies. His main issue is that alot of stores don'T always ask for ID.
- LordEsoterica, on 03/06/2008, -0/+40You know any kid can buy legally an R-rated movie from a store, and movies get to be more violent and sex filled than M-rated games. Any kid can buy a book with absolutely depraved content and no one would give a damn. Videogames are unfairly singled out. In fact, I can't think of a single study that proves a conclusive cause and effect link between violent and sexual content and malformed psychological development, at the most a moderate correlation, which statistically speaking, don't tell you much. And Britain sucks because your BBFC is a government censorship board, and that's illegal in the US because we have full rights, and when the government does violate them, then at least the government itself is breaking the law. Do they even have an analog to the bill of rights in the UK?
- neiltc13, on 03/06/2008, -52/+1Thankfully, we in the United Kingdom value our children's welfare more than we value some silly law signed hundreds of years ago.
- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -1/+40Yeah, I heard about the wonderful safety system you guys have.
Firefighters can't climb ladders to take down decorations (Not safe), kid had his trampoline dismantled (Might fall out of the safety net in back yard), and every corner with cameras.
I would rather be less safe than that, thanks. - str1fe, on 03/06/2008, -1/+20There's a point where you're protecting your nation's citizens and there's a point where your just going over the top. Britain can't even see the top any more, it's so far up.
- mike17032, on 03/06/2008, -0/+17And thats why the rest of the world laughs at you and calls you the Nanny State.
- cygnus2112, on 03/06/2008, -0/+14You don't actually believe that load of bollocks you just spewed, do you?
- KingPsyz, on 03/06/2008, -0/+12enjoy your nanny state
- wellyuk, on 03/06/2008, -0/+15If we did value our children's welfare in anyway, shape or form, then how do you explain:
13 year old kids raping 12 year old girls (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/manches ...
16 and 14 year old kids raping women
(http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,2204 ...

Teenagers running rampage in nursery
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/taysid ...
Obviously, we're doing a cracking job of looking after our kids!- BearinG, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1I'm from neither the US or England but i mean come on, how many of those weird articles could we post about the US.. seriously..
- wellyuk, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1@BearinG:
Probably loads. But the point was we're not mollycoddling our kids as much as neiltc13 is making out. Our kids are scumbags.
- str1fe, on 03/06/2008, -3/+7Oh, and that silly law written hundred of years ago is what gives Americans our civil liberties that we seem to take for granted - like right to 100% free speech, own a gun, etc., but so many people in the rest of the world are jealous of.
Yeah, there's the patriot act and similar bills, but that's another discussion entirely.- wellyuk, on 03/06/2008, -7/+3Be assured, the rest of the world is not in the slightest bit jealous of being able to walk around armed.
- SkullPizza, on 03/06/2008, -7/+3well then you are fools
- coyote1284, on 03/06/2008, -4/+6Better to be a free armed fool that takes his freedom for granted than an enslaved unarmed fool that is complacent in his slavery.
- bigbadgoat, on 03/06/2008, -3/+3Well, we don't bare(bear?) arms up in Canada.
Our cultures are pretty similar, but guess which country has a much, much higher crime rate per capita, and shootings rate per capita.
I'll give you a hint, The country that went to war to get it's independence.
- blast_flame, on 03/06/2008, -1/+4So in effect what you are saying is you hold protecting people from themselves above freedom...
Why the hell are people so statist today?
- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -1/+40Yeah, I heard about the wonderful safety system you guys have.
- eazyyweeezy, on 03/06/2008, -1/+0ppl chatting ***** about england, being a nanny state? come to east or south london, and see if its such a nanny state, thats why london has a crime rate higher than new york? eeediots
- neiltc13, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1I said UK, not England.
- wesd, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Why has this been made into a US vs UK shootout? So the jerk is from the UK, we're not all ike that! Get over it.
- neiltc13, on 03/06/2008, -52/+1Thankfully, we in the United Kingdom value our children's welfare more than we value some silly law signed hundreds of years ago.
- DeathJux, on 03/06/2008, -0/+43"The argument that "parents control what kids play" falls flat on its face in the USA because parents don't need to be there when a child buys a game. If this is the case, the parent(s) failed at parenting. The child is completely their responsibility until s/he turns 18, with few exceptions. - vervalsing, on 03/06/2008, -1/+41It's called parenting, and it is not the job of anyone other than, and this might come as a shock, parents.
- seanthebond, on 03/06/2008, -1/+19I didn't know Jack Thompson's son is on Digg!
- Ender008, on 03/06/2008, -1/+13Don't feed the troll.
(*****, I hope they're just trolling, rather that actually being that stupid) - sarge96, on 03/06/2008, -2/+6Oh yeah, you don't have those problems in the UK.
Guess what? You don't have that problem of free speech, or that pesky right to privacy, or those awful gun rights. To bad we do. Bummer for us, huh?
One day, you're gonna wake up without your rights, and no legal basis for reclaiming them. And you won't have guns, so good luck fighting for those rights.- wellyuk, on 03/06/2008, -3/+4"One day, you're gonna wake up without your rights"
No we're not.- blast_flame, on 03/06/2008, -2/+3How can you be so sure? It is a natural habit for people with coercive power to seek out more coercive power. This of course left unchecked will make all your rights become violated.
- wellyuk, on 03/06/2008, -1/+1It's not going to happen. No way are we going to wake up with all our rights taken away. Not a chance. The government would be brought down well before that ever happened. We have oil, the US would come to our rescue.
- blast_flame, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1If done slowly enough that will not be the case as few will notice, oil might not even be in common use by then.
- wellyuk, on 03/06/2008, -3/+4"One day, you're gonna wake up without your rights"
- str1fe, on 03/06/2008, -0/+7There's plenty of other ***** America needs to work on before we start "fixing" our video game ratings.
- Chaoticfist, on 03/06/2008, -3/+1Jack that you hiding behind the digg account?
- coyote1284, on 03/06/2008, -1/+3Holy crap! Do you have that response saved as a file on your computer just to add to every Jack Thompson/video game violence story that hits digg? Get some new material, would ya? Do you even actually believe that tripe or are you just being a damned troll now? The state is much better at caring for the people's welfare and happiness than the people themselves, right, comrade? Well, then, next time I'm in the UK, I'll have to look you up and buy you a bottle of Victory Gin and we'll have a doubleplusjolly time.
- Chassit, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3What's inherently wrong in your system is that the government assumes the role of parent and determines what children may or may not see. ***** that totalitarian *****.
- ntlpunk, on 03/06/2008, -1/+56except most (if not all) retailers won't sell an M rated game to anyone under the age of 17 without a valid ID or if a parent is present, so no, you're post is a joke.
- Nikole, on 03/06/2008, -0/+42why would he even think he could be in anyway helpful?
- DeathJux, on 03/06/2008, -0/+21Two words:
Crack pipe. - crichton101, on 03/06/2008, -1/+16Cause he's Jack ***** Thompson. What video game company doesn't wouldnt his expert opinion?
/Sarcasm - BearinG, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1That's what I was trying to understand.. how could he possibly help EA acquire Take Two ? What does it have to do with him anyway..
- DeathJux, on 03/06/2008, -0/+21Two words:
- ggping64, on 03/06/2008, -1/+28EA - 1
JT - 0- Failchan, on 03/06/2008, -0/+21Paradox...EA has actually done something well.
- KibibyteBrain, on 03/06/2008, -0/+4Don't worry, it was just an executive decision. Its not like they achieved anything creatively, so the world shall not end...yet.
- coyote1284, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1*head apsloads*
- combatchuck, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2That's one point positive to their accumulated negative 43 quadrillion points. Remember, this is in reference to EA swallowing YET ANOTHER game company.
- twiztidsinz, on 03/06/2008, -2/+2lol, EA swallows
- bigbadgoat, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3I actuallt think EA did a pretty good Job with Skate and Rock Band. I think things are improving.
- Failchan, on 03/06/2008, -0/+21Paradox...EA has actually done something well.
- stalefries, on 03/06/2008, -0/+42Hey, if any game developers are reading this, here's an idea: take one the characters that you're supposed to kill in your up-and-coming game, and replace him with Jack Thompson. Just reskin it. People who don't know won't care, but gamers will absolutely love your game, just for that.
- krische, on 03/06/2008, -0/+23I believe rockstar is sort of doing this in GTA IV. I thought I remember hearing JT was suing Rockstar because of it. I guess one of the first missions is to kill a lawyer who is blaming violence on video games or something of that sort.
- krische, on 03/06/2008, -0/+11Okay, big surpise, I guess it's not as dramatic as I or Jack Thompson thought. I guess the lawyer just says "Guns don't kill people. Video games do."
http://kotaku.com/gaming/phantom-jocks/lawyer-want ...
- krische, on 03/06/2008, -0/+11Okay, big surpise, I guess it's not as dramatic as I or Jack Thompson thought. I guess the lawyer just says "Guns don't kill people. Video games do."
- Professr, on 03/06/2008, -1/+6So would Jack Thompson. He'd love the legal options such a move would give him.
- Scheissen, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8"Any likeness to any real person is purely coincidental."
He's going to sue them for giving a character the same name of an old neocon white lawyer?
- Scheissen, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8"Any likeness to any real person is purely coincidental."
- rogersj3, on 03/06/2008, -0/+25Will his name be Tom Jackson? Cause that would be awesome...
- milkmage, on 03/06/2008, -0/+11call him Tack Johnson - and yeah, we need a new hotcoffeegate.
- krische, on 03/06/2008, -0/+23I believe rockstar is sort of doing this in GTA IV. I thought I remember hearing JT was suing Rockstar because of it. I guess one of the first missions is to kill a lawyer who is blaming violence on video games or something of that sort.
- refreshers, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8Damnit, I was looking forward to a video game based on JT.
- TheTaint, on 03/06/2008, -0/+36Why is Jack Thompson STILL in the news? I mean, there's no way people take this dude seriously.
- str1fe, on 03/06/2008, -0/+14He's still in the news because we the gamers enjoy making fun of his entirely off-the-wall "ideals" when it comes to gaming.
- Lazydriver, on 03/06/2008, -0/+6He's everyone's favorite troll to hate :3.
- Kwipper, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2Just wait until he gets disbarred. When that happens, he'll be just another human being like the rest of us and the media won't give him two *****.
- Lunarbunny, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5FOX likes to put him up as a "school shooting expert."
- Zephik, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Why? Because news isn't about quality material these days, its about ratings. That doesn't mean people, like you, support him. It just means that you give your attention to stuff with him in it, which is why you commented on this page in the first place.
When he ceases to be interesting and/or people forget about him, then he won't be in the news anymore. But for now, people will tune in because of him, whether to agree, disagree or to have something/someone to be pissed/happy about. Hell, its the reason why I checked out this article. I can't stand the stupid bastard and his ridiculous claims, but that makes him interesting to me, so I like to check out articles and news videos about him, if only to further confirm what I think about that dumb bastard.

- lexington86, on 03/06/2008, -3/+45Mr. Thompson,
We have received your letter to EA's shareholder site. In response to your offer to assist in the proposed acquisition of Take-Two, we would strongly prefer that you not get involved in this matter. EA is a strong supporter of creative freedom for game developers. We feel that your past statements - including false claims about content in our games - make any collaboration with you impossible.

- DenTPuzz, on 03/06/2008, -2/+12Jack Thompson should be put against the wall and shot with a blunderpus loaded with his own *****. Actually, EA should make a game of it...

- limezor2, on 03/06/2008, -1/+8I bought Ender's Game (great book, but lots of violence, more so than Manhunt) but I couldn't buy GTA. So what, imagining the blood is so much worse than actually seeing it?
- mrhedges, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5Uhh.. Ender's Game is not more violent than Manhunt. You're comparing a book with a message and moral against a game that centers around brutal killings. Yes, I have read it, and I never found the violence gruesome or over the top. And didn't you know? Kids don't read books.
- Akaji, on 03/06/2008, -1/+1I read the first book of A Song of Ice and Fire when I was 13. Scarred me for life - more so than any game I've ever played could ever have.
(For those that don't know, I'll just give you a tidbit: explicit dwarf sex)- Tyrghast, on 03/06/2008, -1/+1It was tastefully done. :)
- SkullPizza, on 03/06/2008, -0/+4dude, (OH BTW SPOILER ALERT ABOUT ENDERS GAME)
in manhunt you kill hundreds of people in appallingly graphic ways but in enders game the military tricks a child into slaughtering an entire species of sentient aliens. we're talking billions of lifeforms.
enders game, by that definition, is far more violent. - HueytheFreeman, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2Has anyone here ever played DEFCON? It's a game where you nuke everyone else and try to "lose" the less. You'd never actually see the deaths of the countless people you'd killed, because you only saw your "war-map" with the trajectory of where all the nukes were going, but when a nuke would hit you'd see how many people died in that city and hear the collective moans of millions of people getting vaporized. Anyways, there was a discussion as to what was more violent - a typical FPS like Counter-Strike, or this game, which let your imagination combine with what the game displays to produce a truly horrible picture of the world.
- Akaji, on 03/06/2008, -1/+1I read the first book of A Song of Ice and Fire when I was 13. Scarred me for life - more so than any game I've ever played could ever have.

But still, props to EA for telling Jack like it is.- SpectreFire, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8Creative freedom is different than creativity. Creative freedom means they allow people to be creative... unfortunately, few of their people, especially those in the sports department are.
- Cresh07, on 03/06/2008, -2/+2
And just when i was beginning to lose all hope in EA, they redeem themselves with this.- Akaji, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1That's like saying Hitler could redeem himself by saying "Sorry".
- BodomX, on 03/06/2008, -1/+1No, actually its like saying EA games could be good because of this.
- EntangledPhysx, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2Godwins law strikes again!
- Akaji, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1That's like saying Hitler could redeem himself by saying "Sorry".
- Labourer, on 03/06/2008, -0/+0was he trying to do poacher turned gamekeeper?

- mercuryfalling, on 03/06/2008, -0/+7OK, some one here help me out...
How was Jack going to help EA??????
Was Jack going to buy take two then give it to EA? I'm lost on this one.- BruceDude, on 03/06/2008, -0/+0He would just whine like a little bitch on tv.
- ImYourRealDad, on 03/06/2008, -1/+5Not exactly. Jacko offered to help EA purchase take two (by splitting the cost or buying a large share that would help take the financial burden off of EA). If EA allowed Thompson to do that, he would then be a major shareholder in the company, thus allowing him to throw his weight around and boss the creative team into making games that he saw fit to release.
A terribly bad thing if that were to happen. Thankfully, it did not! - MuffinPatrol, on 03/06/2008, -1/+6Jack Thompson is a lawyer and there are usually a lot of lawyers involved in an acquisition of another company. He must be really desperate for work, I almost feel sorry for him.
- jsmith39, on 03/06/2008, -0/+6I wanted to dig you up, I really did... but nothing involving even feigned sentiment for that douche can be legally dug up. Sorry.
- souljaboytellem, on 03/06/2008, -0/+17Too bad John Madden isnt here to explain it "Well Jack came in the office and I mean hewasalloverthem and he went up to them and EA was like Nowayimnotgiving my company to you! (Draws and circles) I mean Come on!"
- jtpjet, on 03/06/2008, -0/+0dugg for any company standing up to that *****
- BruceDude, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3I hate EA for the buyouts, but I applaud them now?
- 1timeuser, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Good point. It looks like JT helped them after all.
- cplex, on 03/06/2008, -0/+4pwned
- Tapewormz, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1"pwned" TM futuremark.
- hammerton1, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2Sit down, Jack Thompson.
- say592, on 03/06/2008, -0/+4I respect EA for that.
What I would have liked to see more is them taking his money, and finding a way out of his contract for no violent games. Therefore making off with his cash like a bandit.
A guy can dream, cant he? - HotGore, on 03/06/2008, -1/+3Thank Jack Thompson is keeping video games out of the hands of children. It is much better that they can buy Saw, Pulp Fiction, hate filled music or any other kind of safe entertainment.
- seanc6610, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1"Why is Jack Thompson STILL in the news? I mean, there's no way people take this dude seriously." - TheTaint.
we have a winner.

- bossm4n, on 03/06/2008, -0/+15This is the first thing that EA has put out in years that is worth a damn and that did not require a series of patches for everyone to enjoy.
- MasterCPO117, on 03/06/2008, -0/+9First EA takes it to Fox news for that Mass Effect story, now this. Perhaps I’ve misjudged this company.
- Zippo, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5Sincerely,
***** you. - antdude, on 03/06/2008, -0/+6I dislike EA, but I like this EA decision!
- 4Li3nwAr3, on 03/06/2008, -2/+1EA.....do....good......?!?!?! omg that just made my day...no no my whole year
- ripple123, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2Thats how one goes about telling someone to go ***** themselves in the real world.
- d4rken3rgy, on 03/06/2008, -2/+0Great work, EA.You people kicked JT's butt and thrown him into a waste basket.Keep up the good work.
- kevinkitching, on 03/06/2008, -2/+23For those of us unschooled in corporate-speak, please allow me to translate...
Dear *****,
Are you out of your *****' mind? You've lied about ***** which you know next to nothing about, and tried to run us out of business based on your ***** 'statistics', which are nothing less than science fiction. Now you want to 'help' us? How, precisely, do you propose to help? Never mind, we don't want to know.
We are real people with real jobs. You, sir, are a banana head which FOX News drags out when they want to scare people with your ignorant *****.
Kindly go ***** yourself.
Sincerely, EA- Neverclear, on 03/06/2008, -0/+4And we have a winner. That's exactly what the Senior Executive whatever typed, and then transformed into the public message of basically... ***** yourself and everything you profit off playing on the stupidity of gullible assholes that don't buy our games anyway.
- 0260, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3wait so he thinks that EA would some how make GTA less violent after they buy out? or am i missing something?
- yaryarhumphump, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3*giggles like a school girl*
Thats funny ***** - GregIsLegend, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8I have this very unhealthy love hate relationship thing going on with EA right now...
- Bigmodirty, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3That hit the spot. Thanks EA
- H1tchh1k3r, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1facepalmed
- aimhelix, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3Hey Jack, do you remember that kid back in Elementary school who thought he was cool and tried to hang out w/the cool kids only to be ignored? Remember that schmoozer? Oh wait.. that was you. Oops!
- Kigmal, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2If they just added the words "***** You" at the end of their letter it would of been so sweet.
- KaiserAce, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Pwned.
- HalsMyPal, on 03/06/2008, -1/+3BOOM!
HEAD SHOT! - HAMMERotheGODS, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2Dear Jack,

With love, EA - popltree2, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1PWND!
- EmeraldTsurugi, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1So, to basically summarize the digg posts... (As far as I'm understanding it, and I don't really have a strong opinion on EA)
EA: Good company, bad developer. - Hermiod, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1He's going to sue EA now, you all realise that, don't you ?
- Chassit, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1On what grounds?
- offspring06, on 03/07/2008, -0/+1For hurt feelings.
- Chassit, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1On what grounds?
- coyote1284, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1EA! Buy Madden this year. EA! Buy Madden this year. EA! Buy Madden this year.
I hate your product, but your message to Jack Thompson is amazing! -
