$150 million campaign. - sanilio, on 07/14/2009, -0/+42I've made a huge mistake.
- MrScotchBoy, on 07/14/2009, -0/+35I heard of all these besides the Mercenaries Free Gas. That ***** is insane.
- Falldog, on 07/14/2009, -2/+35Looks like someone just discovered a new Photoshop tutorial. Maybe someone should let them know that it's better to actually post images relating to the bits you're talking about, not over sized headers.
- FredFredrickson, on 07/14/2009, -4/+36"disastvertising" - whoever wrote this needs to end his writing career immediately.
- bixby1, on 07/14/2009, -0/+28I can't believe that EA really sent me the exact same brass knuckles that I already have.
- Phoyo, on 07/14/2009, -3/+30Reads like cracked, except I wasn't laughing.
- Tolzmaniac, on 07/14/2009, -1/+23Sony parties with headless goats AND titties!

Seems like it was a helluva party - jboitnott, on 07/14/2009, -1/+23I can't ever get enough of Uwe Boll and his complete ignorance towards the world.
- Dustin00, on 07/14/2009, -0/+16Note to self: avoid London.
- RiperSnifle, on 07/15/2009, -0/+16You mean this human arm I picked up is full of chicken blood!? *****, it's worthless now.
- sokrateas, on 07/14/2009, -0/+16Never a bad time for an Arrested Development quote.
- gortface, on 07/15/2009, -0/+15i just blue myself
- tgc1, on 07/15/2009, -1/+15The Firm who came up with that baby one should be kicked in the nuts. What a ***** disastrous waste of money.
- MrFisty, on 07/14/2009, -0/+13I'd argue that the brass knuckles were a good idea. Got press time for a game that most people would have overlooked. And wouldn't breaking the law play straight into the hands of the whole gangster theme? Seems to tick the box to me.
- doshindude, on 07/15/2009, -2/+11Buried for not mentioning the infamous "John Romero is about to make you his bitch" ad.
- anthropodeus, on 07/15/2009, -0/+9"Animal rights organizations complained as quickly as malnourished people can actually move"
which is . . . not fast at all. - snagglefoof, on 07/14/2009, -0/+9FTA: "it triggering a tidal wave"
I hate that. - MasterGrief, on 07/14/2009, -0/+8I thought it was a shame that it turned out illegal. I'd love to have a set of, or maybe just a single fist's worth, of brass knuckles.
I mean, yeah, brass knuckles are bad, but so are knives, and they could probably ship those out with a game as long as they were suitably weak. The trouble with brass knuckles, unfortunately, is that you can't just make them dull-- a brass knuckle is a brass knuckle, no matter how you do it. There's really no law-compliant way to use them as a promotional device that doesn't involve cheap-looking padding and plastic. I guess EA should have gone with a figurine or something. - mrro, on 07/14/2009, -0/+7Diaste. Disasvt. Damnit I can't say it...

- Repeater2000, on 07/14/2009, -1/+5For the BEST in gaming PR, one just needs to head to the NeoGAF gaming forums.
- Malik112099, on 07/14/2009, -0/+4Wish I was at the topless chick goat beheading...
- Orlex, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3I wonder how many people died directly from the speeding on that day. Objectively it's hilarious but I bet a lot of lives were like, ruined.
- weif, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3Gotta like the gas stunt and the random body parts...
- faceless323, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3The baby one reminded me of Trainspotting
- geneticerror, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3I cant believe that no one has mentioned the "All i want for christmas is a PSP" viral marketing website. That was the *****. It had some lame ass guy trying to vid rap about getting his "mates mom" to buy his "mate" a PSP. From day 1 everyone knew that it was a viral site, and caused Sony and its marketing contractor to admit/appoligise on the website about it being fake.
Here is the vid:

- Canadianinjapan, on 07/15/2009, -2/+5#1 -Blizzard not having LAN support for SC2.
- MentalBeaver, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Boomtown Rats tried a similar thing when they were trying to break into the US. They sent dead rats, preserved in formaldehyde, to radio stations with the message "The Rats are coming". Didn't help too much.
- jasmus, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2When I was young, I always thought Cracked magazine was a poor imitation of MAD.
That's what I think this is to Cracked. - ernasty10050, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2What a fantastic audience!
- mandarin, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2wasnt that bad.
- NiceGuyVan, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2It was EA, not R*
- Sideshowslob, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2I thought it was pretty entertaining.
- 4orced4door, on 07/14/2009, -3/+5The ATHF Mooninite debacle comes to mind. Not a game, but better than most of these.
- disappointed, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1I'd heard of the brass knuckles but I'd be stumped if you asked me what game they were trying to flog. And it's not like Godfather II went on to achieve huge success.
- ericrous, on 07/15/2009, -1/+2Postal rocked. I'm not ashamed to say it.
- burgerkinghorn, on 09/02/2009, -0/+1Dugg for "suck up announcements like a nymphomaniac vacuum cleaner"
- brim4brim, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1Yeah I wonder how much they cost the British economy that day ignoring their own loses lol.
- TWallaceWD, on 07/15/2009, -1/+2This is a horribly written article.
- aeck, on 07/19/2009, -0/+1I shouldn't have given up animation rights.
- anthropodeus, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1did you accidentally the whole traffic?
- brim4brim, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1I think paying speeding fines was probably the worst one. I mean WTF!
