If it is indeed Diablo 3, and they plan those release dates right... all the other competitors might as well just quit. My hope is that they will do Diablo 3 the same way with Diablo 2 (battle.net system). A MMO is more logical money wise, but I absolutely loved the battle.net system. You could weed out the idiots and play with your friends~

That being said if it is Diablo 3, it better not be a MMO because that would seriously destroy the franchise. Diablo is a hack'n'slash genre that worked perfectly with the multiplayer Battle.net from D2 and that is all it needs. They don't need another WoW.

I really hope D3 isn't Diablo Online, but I don't see how Blizzard could justify using the battle.net system after the runaway success of WoW.
