Determinance: indie PC sword-fighting game demo released
mode7games.com — After nearly four years in development, we've released Determinance, a sword-fighting title where you control the sword with the mouse. You can try the game out at our site. We've done some tests with the Wiimote as well - hopefully we'll be able to come up with a working system for that at some point in the near future.

- ak402, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey, it's really fun playing Determinance! And I'm a GIRL. And not a computer-game-playing one either! The mouse control is intuitive and if you're not used to playing games you can get the computer to move the character around for you. So I reckon everyone should buy the game (I'm not being paid to say this btw).
Woot! - devolved, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anybody else remember "Die By The Sword" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_by_the_Sword)? I bet the developers of Determinance do. Not ripping on them, because I loved that game, and am glad to see something like it emerging again. The flying adds a nice bit of strategic maneuvering.
Played the tutorial and the arcade bits of the demo. Looking like something that has potential. If/when they can get this onto the Wii then they'd have something pretty fantastic I think.
