Dark Alex's next PSP firmware lets you use ANY PSone game for emulation

pspfanboy.com — That Dark_Alex kid is up to it again. His custom firmware cracks the protection that PSone games from the PlayStation Store use. However, it looks like the next revision, called 3.02 OE-B, will support ripping of ISO files and turning them into EBOOT files to launch via XMB. This means almost any PSone game you own can be transfered to PSP!

  • shadus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The best part is Dark Alex does stuff for the TA-082 people too. Most of the community largely ignores them because its a bit harder and it can't easily run the old firmwares that make emulation easy.
