- Hockey37, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Seriously, do all your comments have to start with that?
- elroy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6okay i saw this phone the other day. looks cool, but i thought this headline was going to be a VoIP application cartridge for the DS.
some day... - drizek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Two weeks ago, no one gave a damn about touch screens. Then when Mr. Turtleneck demoed a "groundbreaking" new product called the iPhone, if you dont got a touchscreen then you aint *****.
- Tenlow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm still wondering how hard it would be to dial a phone like that without looking.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Was I the only person who saw "Crude Drawings" and thought of people sending back and forth stick figure pr0n?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I am sick of touch screen phones! I enjoy my buttons, just as I enjoy my keys on my keyboard.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+10The nokia aeon is better.
- marcuschi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6seriously. It will definitely be a lot more affordable than the iPhone.
- altcountryman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nope. Just the fastest one to post a comment about it!
- FizixMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Now what would be really awesome is a homebrew application for the DS that uses the Wifi & microphone to make calls over Skype/VOIP.
- assassinmaids, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I welcome this if they have good character recognition, It's a bit of a pain to type JP Kana on a keypad.
- dokbeast7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1seriously, its like- oh never mind...
- daridave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Iwata is probably laughing right now.
It's slick, sexy, but this will go nowhere, fast. - zupac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ elroy & FizixMan: working VoIP applications are already in development for the NDS...
http://www.digg.com/gaming_news/Turn_your_Nintendo_DS_into_a_phone - dyrmsz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1iPhone killer
- Blandyman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I love how you said failed.
Failed equates to lack of success. From what I hear, it's gonna sell good, because some providers are already making it a pain in the ass to switch to Cingular. I know Nextel is. - altcountryman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The cool way to spell it nowadays is "digga."
- SystmBetatester, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2i agree, iphone is pretty much gunna fail much like the ps3, its got the money to live but the product wont hold. all you apple fanboys look like the sony fanboys right now. any of you stupid enough to even pay for that crap is unimagineable. anyway these phones look slick. but again this is a dupe :S
- Wilarico, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"Imitation is the best form of flattery:" From what I have seen online the LG/Prada phone is the first large touch screen phone.

- somerandomnerd, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Well, the phone I saw in my dream last night is about as likely to hit the shops as that Nokia concept...
Seriously, it was great. Every inch of the cover was touchscreen, so you could change what colour it was whenever you wanted, and it also doubled up as a rubiks cube. - nizon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Neat, but when are they going to create a touchscreen that provides some tactile feedback?
- somerandomnerd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@marcuschi,
*press button*
BEEP.
Touchscreens on phones is nothing new. Touchscreens on phones where some effort has gone into the UI, however, is as yet unheard of. So long as this is more like the DS and less like your average HTC model, it should be fine. - garyh84, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Jesus *****. This same story was on the front page two days ago.
Just because he's a top digger doesn't mean you guys have to digg up his regurgitated *****. - marcuschi, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3seriously. A phone's purpose is to be functional, not purely aesthetic. We as a human race aren't capable of commanding touch screen technology and will fail miserably trying to incorporate that into our daily lives. From a usability standpoint a user needs tactile responsive interaction. How will blind people adopt that kind of technology.
- thetopics, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3DS I have. We make DS to use for when is time for doo doo. If you have time for doo doo, take not book, take not magazine. DS should play for you in such a time. American friends says to me Hey! I wanna play DS time! My says Okay! but not tell them I make doo doo in such a time. This is reason for one thing. Internet is ok on DS. When time for doo doo is have by you, take not computer! Take DS!
- SystmBetatester, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2this has aleady been on the front page. DoCmoS i think. anyway yea. burried as dupe
- v3rb4t1m, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1what a piece of *****.
- marcuschi, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2seriously. It could be its little brother.
- marcuschi, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4seriously. I hate it when people submit ANY link they just read off a front page story. But good to see docomo is using their heads, unlike the failed iPhone.
- souperslim, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1nintendo dual screen micro
- Retuow, on 10/12/2007, -11/+1Looks a bit cheap (it probably will be compared to the iPhone)
- miggz06, on 10/12/2007, -22/+2still cant beat the iTouch Mobile
