- mighty_mouth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1commander keen pwns!!!!
- Veloxi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Almost?" This list is barely even a fraction of all the games made for DOS. Where's ELITE, or Starflight, or Tornado, or Alien Legacy, or either Crusader game, or X-COM, or F-14 Fleet Defener, or...
This list isn't very good, sorry, no digg. - mycatsboots, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1One Must Fall is possibly the greatest game ever. (okay not really but I'm on a fanboy rant because I haven't played it in 11 years.)
- EricTheGrey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No Adventure?? No Zork??
If you're going to do old games, ya gotta have them. :P
I agree with Dosbox. The easiest way to get a dos game to run under XP:

EtG - Dabellah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"they dont have crusader"
DAMNIT! MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!
Why is it when this stuff is always brought about, NO ONE (and i mean NO ONE) can come up wiht a port of the Crusader games? I still consider them a couple of the best action games ever made. Pure genious and WAY ahead of its time! GO BULLFROG GO err wait... Bullfrog's dead =( - awesinine, on 07/15/2009, -0/+0no rodger ramrod, no digg!
- ShotgunSi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow Alleycat. That is OLD school. Digg for teh win!11one!!!!

- Smoktiludy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I played too much Galactix for my own good.
- Dred, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0DukeNukem3D, oh many a drunken lan party night that the office. Cool site would like to find more sights like this. The best way to play these game is find you an old system with win98. I still have an old one that I play some games on.
- evercool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wonderful! I have searched for this game called "Skyroads" for a long time without remembering the name... A quick look in this database and I found it! ++digg
- jumjum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I downloaded the Quake demo 10 years ago on dial-up, and it took 5 hours to download the 7 megabyte file. Ten years later you can download it in 14 seconds with a good cable home connection. Viva humanity.
- mattcohn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's missing Quatris, Rayman, Conquest, and those are just the first three I looked for. :-/
- veneficus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No Sokoban. Undigg'd.
- mycatsboots, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good luck getting some of these to run on Windows XP. Some of the games I tried are just totally muffed, most are sound card issues, but some just plain old don't work, not even in "compatibility" mode
- mikeroySoft, on 10/19/2009, -0/+0@ madhattan
are you thinking of Heretic and/or Hexxen? - battamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I had forgotten all about the Hugo games. Huzzah!

(Still trying to get Quake to work on XP though - think I'm fighting a losing battle, even running in 95 compatability mode won't work!) - Mike.ohara, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0huh... no chopper command....
there is quite a few great games that are not in the list :-/
disappointing but, still a good list to reminisce over. - Veejay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ford Simulator! I had that on my very first 286 when I was little. Wow, I don't remember it sucking that bad.
- Rirath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Catacomb Abyss
http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/game/3 - Rirath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0MADHATTAN: I believe that game was called Abyss, if you're thinking of the same game.
You basically ran around shooting a fireball from your hand in FPS perspective.
Loved that game. - LankyGoRar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty much the only reason I learned DOS was for gaming purposes. Just makes me nostalgic for a simpler time... DIGG
- 7477696700, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0O Dark Forces, where art thou?

- chris4404, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The whole list is pointless without Commander Keen. :D

- mrghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where the heck is Masters of Magic? That was definitely one of the best DOS games ever. Of course it is also missing Lemmings (the first one) and the original Duke Nukem too.
- arcman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, not even a quarter of the listing that The Underdogs carries.
