Confirmed! Jack Thompson Is Now Officially Disbarred

kotaku.com — Miami attorney... sorry, former Miami attorney John B. "Jack" Thompson, was officially disbarred over the weekend. Florida judge Dava Tunis recommended permanent disbarment for the attention seeking lawyer on September 25th, a change reflected on the Florida Bar's official web site, which notes that he is "not eligible to practice in Florida."

I have no problem with people's misguided opinions about how dangerous video games are, but he lied time and again about the facts. He went on TV directly after the Virginia Tech massacre, saying the killer played Counter Strike, what he referred to as a "murder simulator." He does it every time there is a school shooting, he blamed GTA for a previous one. He is a disgrace to the law, and I, for one, am laughing my ass off at the news. ***** you, Jack Thompson, you piece of *****.
