- Computer_Kid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When movie theaters stop showing movies, they may become the Ultimate Internet cafe!

- next, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd absolutely love to hook a PS2 up to something like that and pop in my copy of Rez.

Why so grumpy? This is newsworthy to myself. - futoranime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I had the same idea. But of course I was high.
- sapid, on 03/07/2008, -0/+0Interesting movie theater concept.
http://www.trianglesource.com/movies/ - Aooogah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Seems like it might not be very space efficient. For all the current and next -gen consoles there is only a maximum of 4 players to a game. That would mean that each screen can only be used by four players at a time. Now, if it were like a LAN situation with computers in the theater and the screen showing the action for spectators, that would be different.
- themulf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Im near philly, I wonder if they will get one.
- kevthecatslayer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a theatre by my school had a promotion when donkey konga came out. It was cool but i'd like to play a game that would benefit more from a big screen than donkey kongs
- megatoast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Annual rate is a steal. I'd do it.
- next, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0megatoast: The annual rate is only to get a $1 discount for every hour of play. It's only worth it if you plan on playing there for more than 40 hours every year.
- xcodemanx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When i was 10 i used to daydream about that
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0emagine theatres hold monthly halo tourneys
- dkneppra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nothing new, we have a local cinema that started doing this two years ago with Halo. You can rent a theater for a party and they also set it up for late night movie releases for people who get their hours early.
- CaptainBryan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Next, I doubt that would be a problem.
- hypnotiq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hm, just use your companies conference room after hours ;)
- blhack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0We have a theater in my house.....screen is prob close to ten feet wide (we didn't install it, so i don't know the size) I always wanted to hook the Ps2 up to it but my dad would never let me because in the manual for my ps2 it said that it could fry a projection tv....WTF!!
(yes i do understand what burn in is...but this happens on almost all tvs!)
>:| - minime283, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Big deal. -My- theatre does that as well, with a Forza Motorsport tournament this weekend. And my town's like...tiny.
- aznchaosfryk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Basically, it's one big internet cafe. Amazing though... thats what would be a real "power house"
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This may be the future of cinemas once Hollywood movies decide to just release everything straight-to-DVD...
- Califax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've seen this on tv, Seems kickass for ssmb or halo
- mbrindam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Holy crap... Hampton is my home town! Why didn't I get that memo?
- Mexrocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wanna play...
- w33n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sweet, i'll have to check it out before i move out of New Hampshire next month.
- macdude22, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Big deal, theater here has let you play consoles(they will provide them even) on the big screen fer 2 years now. And I live in a town of 8000 people. This is not a new thing, and certainly not newsworthy.
