Clothing Company Rips Off Popular Valentine Card
4colorrebellion.com — Remember that valentine card that was oh so popular on digg this past Valentine's Day? Well a British Clothing Company by the name of All Saints has stolen the design and proceeded to sell it as a shirt, swindling their customers for an exorbitant amount of money. I guess some people just don't understand geek love.

"Let's see...let's steal these guy's ideas, pretty much copy/paste the design EXACTLY and then charge 40 pounds for it." Assholes. - gkzhang, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1http://www.4colorrebellion.com/archives/2008/02/15 ...

- megashaun, on 02/15/2008, -0/+9So this company has 15 stores in London, charges 40 ***** pounds for a shirt, and just rips of god-knows-how many artists from the web? ***** these guys.
- PMD006, on 02/15/2008, -4/+0Oh, now I see. Now I get it. Now the pieces are falling into place. The T-shirt, the valentine, that dwarf in my book club that steal my opinions. It's all coming together now.

- will500, on 02/15/2008, -2/+1It COULD just be a mistake.... but still.... as of now, not cool.
- Thater, on 02/15/2008, -0/+2How could that possibly just be a mistake?
- don_corpus, on 02/15/2008, -0/+1The answer is that there is no possibility that it could just be a mistake. The layout of the blocks is exactly the same, right down to the pattern of dots on the 1x4 bricks. They've just cut Mitch's design out of the card and added a weathered Cool-Safe(tm) effect.

- doedipus, on 02/15/2008, -0/+0Wow, that bites. I know stuff gets ripped off online and across international borders, but this is a bit extraneous.
- DroogInPhoenix, on 02/16/2008, -0/+1Whats the update? If the company took it serious like they said, a call would have been immediate.
