One problem: randomly your avatar would do what we called 'Hulk out' - the body would turn grey, and it would start moving uncontrollably in one direction down the scrolling screens. You couldn't control him except to move him to the left, but then he wouldn't move back to the right, so eventually you'd wind up skirting the edge of the screen until you got all the way to the bottom of the map.
