Circuit City Is Calling Wii "The Fusion"
circuitcity.shoplocal.com — Check this CircuitCity circular ad. Dont know whats up with them but appapently they can call the Wii whatever they want.

- digg it
- bickman2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+62The only, and I mean ONLY, thing that could have happened here is someone heard that Nintendo was releasing a new system and had something called the "Nintendo Fusion Tour" that would help promote it. The fact that this person was obviously hired away from his Dell support line in Antarctica to update the Circuit City website on new technology is irrelevant.
- zephc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+52"Hello, me live in cave, me make ad for Circuit City. Is only side job. Me real job is cage-monkey at Frys"
- VipeNess, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4LOL the webmaster was trying to type too fast, because Circuit City's web program sucks from their marketing team, making their web team do half ass jobs, and that is what happen. Just got stressed out. If you go to the link, it is the FUSION Tour with those 4 bands... the web team mistakenly forgot to delete the text after he copy pasted it on the page, and replace it with " Wii " Good job Circuit City Marketing Team!
- sundancekid503, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Fu60 should be a big seller this Christmas.
- VipeNess, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you can tell the last thing in the webmasters clipboard was Nintendo fusion tour graphic and the text, because if you look at the link, for the Wii past the Digg link, the label for the fusion tour is half ass created, with the white boxes around the circle, you can still seem them, didn't even take the 1 min to crop them out to make it look better.
- Quix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+30Maybe this is Nintendo's secret "last minute" announcement.
"Just kidding about that silly Wii name, folks. May we present - The Nintendo Fusion!" :) - trubbleshute, on 10/12/2007, -11/+1edit:
- DogmaticAtheism, on 10/12/2007, -16/+5I assume you wrote Antarctica instead of India simply to not get dugg down for being "racist" or "prejudice."
Everyone knows that the stereotype of foreign tech support belongs to India.
Dugg down for being a politically correct wimp. - linkinpark342, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2See if he had said Indian he would (may) not have been dugg down for being anti-pc, but for just being wrong. Clearly if you had an Indian coding the website you would not have any issues - Indians are godly at the computers and the tubes...
Says the Bengali high-schooler who is a server administrator for his school's Tech club and competitor in his school's Science Team...
- holmes101, on 10/12/2007, -8/+23"for more details visit www.circuitcity.com/Wii"
Its obviously a mistake.- spartan018, on 10/12/2007, -3/+54no, really?
- ehb373, on 10/12/2007, -24/+2i definitely agree with you, it's called a typo...
- mathmanjeffy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26No, it's a mistake.
A typo is doing something along these lines:
"Wiii" or even "Wi" maybe "wi" or "eii" or maybe even "Wuo"
I cannot fathom accidentally mistyping "Fusion" instead of "Wii." - revenge7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Oh, it can happened.
- RandomSkratch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14@mathmanjeffy
Have you not had a good look at your keyboard? I mean it's very likely that you could "accidentally" type fusion instead of fusion.. err I mean Wii.. SEE? Wow.. Maybe we should switch to DVORAK to avoid these problems. - devindotcom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2revenge... that was funny.
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10tatclass> YOU ALL SUCK DICK
tatclass> er.
tatclass> hi.
andycode> A common typo.
tatclass> the keys are like right next to each other. - billymachine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Once my friend Shawn was running on very little sleep, but I was trying to play cards with him. After the first game, he blurted out this gem: "I suck ducks!" Apparently he'd meant to say "Shuffle the deck" but it came out wrong. True story!
- mattfox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+40Available 11/19 thru Nov 11.
- radicaldementia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27well of course, didn't you hear the Nintendo Fusion was also a time machine!
- floridiot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Infinite while loop.

- WhereAmI, on 10/12/2007, -112/+4the fusion:
A gamecube and a TV remote.
i anticipate an early -3 diggs if this is not on the front page, or -26 Diggs if on the front page. It would be more (technically less) if it wasn't for all the people that have me banned for my Wiigger comments.- m0oSe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+42I haven't seen you or your "Wiigger" comments before, but I'm blocking you now because I can tell your a dumbass.
- Mooinakan, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11-22 after I negative digged
HELP HIM GET TO HIS GOAL PEOPLE! - cmyke, on 10/12/2007, -15/+15I dugg you down, Moose, because you called someone a dumbass and you don't even know when to use "you're." Plus your name sucks. Eat a dick?
Here's hoping I beat WhereAmI in negative Diggs.
Thanks! - Makubex, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8@cmyke;
mo0se used your properly in his post.
Think about it this way, if he used you're, his sentence would have been; "I havn't seen you or you are "wiigger" comments before...
He was using your in a posessive way, meaning "wiiger" comments made by WhereAmI.
Before you tear into someone for a ***** reason such as that, you should probably make sure that you know what you are talking about.
Anyways, the real reason for my reply, I didn't know that you could block people, how in the world do I go about doing that? - rads, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9@Makubex
Actually, no, "your a dumbass" is not proper usage.
You can block people by clicking the button to the right of time the comment was posted. - WhereAmI, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1- 94 Diggs!
I knew that my lower projections would result in either really low, ore really high(to prove me wrong) diggs.
Thank you all!
I wish there was a way that I could find out who has me blocked, because they are Wiiggers. Notice the two "i"s, meaning a Wii fanboy on Digg. Then I want to post who has me blocked when the Wii loses. Wii fanboy list:
Besides, I want Wii fanboys to block me. I can insult them and they never respnd back and i dont have to hear their ***** Wii battle shrieks. - scratched, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2IF the Wii "loses", it won't matter to Wii fans because we'll still be having fun playing with our Wiis
Most "Wii fanboys" don't care that the Wii is going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread, we just want to get one for ourselves.
The way things are looking though, the Wii is not going to "lose". Retailers are pushing the Wii more than I can remember any console being pushed. Every store I get ads for is pushing the Wii big time, the PS3 just gets a small little footnote next to the Xbox360. - cmyke, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0@Makubex
"Before you tear into someone for a ***** reason such as that, you should probably make sure that you know what you are talking about"
Right back at ya, buddy! Notice mo0se used "your" TWICE in his ramblings. - opnickc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"I wish there was a way that I could find out who has me blocked, because they are Wiiggers."
No, the people who block you are the ones who're annoyed by your arrogance and illogical comments which contribute nothing to the story/topic/discussion.
The "fanboys" keep you unblocked so they can digg you down, sparing visitors to digg from having to see your pointless comments.
- iluvatar, on 10/12/2007, -13/+5maybe they're confusing it with Nintendo's Fusion tour?
- SeaBass22, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Maybe you should read the first comment
- w0rd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8@Seabass22
Kick his ass Sea Bass! ...22.
- tedbrogan, on 10/12/2007, -22/+5Yet another Wii story.
Make it stop. - Stonedonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Circuit City is one of the Fusion tour sponsors. Looks like someone over there had a brain fart.
- 98acura, on 10/12/2007, -33/+7ENOUGH ABOUT THE WII!
Does the new digg algorithm look for the word 'wii' and automatically move it to the first position?- po43292, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5Yes. And Borat.
- xrisnothing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Yes. If you don't like it, then go to netscape.
- xrisnothing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I know, that when I'm buying my wii at launch, I'll pick up a copy of the new Borat game. I heard the naked wrestling level was the best. I'm not sure which way you're supposed to hold the wiimote during that . . .
- Dragular, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Jagshemash! I making a videos game! Please you to not pirate!
- Aggort, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1bickman is right their is a Nintendo Fusion tour that promotes the latest and hottest Nintendo products. The Wii is there, but this ad is just confusing
If you go to the link that it provides at the bottom it takes you to the Wii's official Circuit City page. There you see a big logo presenting the Nintendo FUSION Tour. Obviously Circuit City must be sponsoring the even in which case I can see why this typo happened!- mathmanjeffy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2You can't typo "Fusion" for "Wii."
It don't work. Everyone who thinks every mistake ever made is now a typo because it's done on computers is a dumb ass.
Sorry, I typo'd there. I meant to say: "is a kind and considerate person."
- mathmanjeffy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2You can't typo "Fusion" for "Wii."
- GeneralChang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2http://www.nintendofusiontour.com/
mute your speakers!- tc811, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1lol, that was damn loud.
- artofwar420, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2http://www.nintendofusiontour.com/
Totally rad! 0oo0 !!!!! - bobmagoo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1the website is circuitcity.shoplocal.com plus some other stuff, is this a circuit city owned site, or a phishing/prank site?
- JonnyTrombone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's set to specific store (in Lexington, KY). This isn't a circuit city wide thing, just the local website.
- noseeme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The site uses your IP address and host name to assign you to a region to target you to local sellers.
- xrisnothing, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3bury
- VioletArrows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What? Why? This is hilarious, if not for the horrible mistake, then for the other digg comments!
- iamcool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Marty! We have to go back to 2006.
- noseeme, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1No they aren't.
- bluemeep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Speaking as a previous (and very brief) employee of this company, I can say without a doubt that 30% of the management staff will be calling it the "Fusion" now. Like freaking parrots for new buzzwords, they are.
- gugin, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0I was in Gamestop today and they had advertisements for the Fusion tour. It's from Nintendo. It's not a typo. It has to do with the Wii's online content and online gaming.
- gugin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0How did I get -3 when there are no comments. no replies. Listen here WINDOWS ME users. GO TO http://www.nintendo.com/home They have FUSION on THEIR WEBSITE. And How in the ***** do you people think someone can mistype Wii and get FUSION???
- SeVeRyourTies, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Hey dumbass! Quit being a dumbass and actually pay attention to what is going on around you!
- charlescheese, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I wish they had called it the fusion.
- crilen007, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2They should have more Wiikly ads like this.
- absentmindedjwc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1actually... if you look at the ad, it says "Wii" directly above it in big letters...
not a typo.. probably just a marketing thing... - Thezeppelin62, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2dood your a n00blar
- panic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2this is probably just some lame viral marketing ploy to get us to see a bunch of lame butt rockers
- doshindude, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Nintendo Fusion Tour possibly?
- fyter1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The only Fusion that they are selling is Con-Fusion.
- DAVIDPOWERZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ha. nice
- purplfunk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1ha ha... the poster's address and phone # are posted for everyone here to see!!
- b04155, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's got to be the worst description for a console ever. Value added to the customer??? Oh christ isn't that the over-done statement that really means "we added crap to bill more hours and charge you out the ass"
Sounds like something a government contractor would write.
/go wii!! - Vesuvius314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1if you are referring to me as the poster then you are a ***** idiot to think that the website i linked to is my address and telephone number. that is the number to the local circuit city in my area you *****.
- javykixs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I bet the webmaster had "Fat Fingers". Sometimes the keys get jumbled together when spelling fusion and wii.
:-) - metalshed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i want the fusion!
- Cannon1001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The Nintendo Fusion an add on so you can use you Wii with an XBox 360 or PS3. Since both Sony and Microsoft endorsed the Wii as an excellent secondary console Nintendo has added an optional feature to be able to use the Xbox 360 or PS3's HDTV feature. The will change the playability of your Wii significantly.
- magiic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This sounds like a typo or mistake I'd make...I am the most scatter brained person ever. I'm pretty sure I had the line "parrots come in a variety of different colours" mid way through an essay on Romeo & Juliet
