Child's Play close to the $1 million mark. Can we get it there?

arstechnica.com — "I'm going to send in a little bit more right now to see if we can't get them to the $1 million mark. Who's with me? Being this close to such a huge, round, mediagenic number like a million, it would be a shame if we couldn't push it over the edge. Let's get this finished in style."

    • thebaron2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11If, for some reason, anyone is skeptical of charity organizations, remember that you can also click the individual controller icons on the map to see an Amazon.com Wish List for individual hospitals.

      You can order requested games/toys there and have them shipped directly to the hospital that wanted them. Another good way to contribute if you only have a gift card or for whatever other reason.

      So, if you can donate, please contribute even more than that to make up for the ones that either can't or won't.

  • golga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It always amazes me how fast Child's Play grew. When it started it was pretty much just the two penny arcade guys doing all the work in their garage, and only at the one hospital in Seattle. Now its world wide and about to break the 1 million mark.
