Capcom: Resident Evil on Wii in 2007, More Wii Announcements Soon

  • Saiing, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21That was exactly my feeling. RES4 in GC wasn't just a good game on the console. It was one of the best games released on ANY of the last generation. Period.

    Given how well Capcom mastered the 'cube's technology and how similar the GC is to the way the Wii is designed, they should be able to do some great things with it.

    Resident Evil for Wii is going to get some new weapons, and not just guns.
    In addition to using the Wiimote pointer for aiming,
    you can use Wiimote gestures to simulate baseball bat, swords, fist fights, dodging, throwing grenades.

    Even though it won't be better looking than RE5, RE for Wii will probably be a lot more fun.

I still have the original video and I forgot which game they got the music from. That and it's all pre-rendered video, so it's not even running on a game engine.

    from what I understand the PC ports weren't worth it?

    RE has a richer history and last time I checked 3 movies(I've lost count)

    point is your average person knows more about the RE series than DMC....

If so, I'm going to ***** myself because I've always been scared while playing the Resident Evils. RE4 wasn't scare at all because the setting ruined it. You know, open spaces, lots of places to run to :-/.
