Call of Duty 4 gains on Halo 3
gameater.com — CoD 4 has climbed to number 2 in the Xbox 360 Top Live Titles top ten and is now threatening Halo 3's top spot.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON I know over the age of 14, every single review, etc consider COD4 a much better game.... So I 100% think COD4 will overtake Halo 3... if not now then by Christmas with a combo of Christmas sales and word of mouth between now and then.

- shokker2p1s, on 11/20/2007, -0/+4I've played both and I can say without any reservation that in terms of online game play and fun factor, CoD4 beats the be' jesus out of Halo 3. By far the best game. Too bad it can't compete with the H3 fan base. H3 has an average of like 600K people playing during peak hours and CoD4 is like 60 - 80K.

- KingGoonie, on 11/20/2007, -0/+3I found (through listening to my 14 year nephew over the headset lol, as well as other younger sounding people) that it seems 15year olds and below prefer Halo.... probably because they are the most susceptible to hype over quality... I got a game request from my other nephew, 10 years old, and I left him a voice message saying I don't have halo... he sends me one back saying " WELL GET HALO3, ITS LIKE THE BEST GAME EVER, SO GET THAT, and um madden too...", and its all in caps because he screamed that part. My older brother who is 35, and his friends... they have only been playing COD4 lately. So yea, thats my small microcism lol. Youngins seem to prefer Halo, adults COD4.
I was thinking of picking up Halo 3 only because my nephew is on it about 70% of the time over COD4... and he is on live much more than my brother who prefers COD4... but Im not really a big halo fan so I'm struggling... I saw something for 800points, but I think that was to just change my current gamer tag, which is friggin ridiculous that they would charge me to change my own tag.... I mean 10 bucks!?!?!?!?, so maybe I misunderstood what it meant, and it was to add a gamertag, not change one.

If you're in the same room and want to play you can sign him in as guest and play some multplayer games online as long as they aren't ranked matches. CoD4 does not support split screen though as far as I know.

Still it would annoy me if he decided to pick it up and played under my gamertag, not even because of sucking up my tag, I'm pretty sucky still myself... but because I want to keep track of any additions I get, like when you level up or something like that... Like on the off chance he does play he would play when I'm not home so I wouldnt know... he can't play with me because I only have the one remote, and I'm not going to leave my room so he could play lol.
