Where's the client/server? I want a dedicated server, not some peer to peer stuff - I'll use that for my torrents, thanks.
Where's the actual ping? Bars to show how good the ping is? What is this, Halo 2?
Where's the console?
Oh, I know. Maybe they'll release "premium content" in a few months and charge me $20 for what should have been there in the first place.

Those who basically don't want to deal with the plethora of young, swearing, immature kids that drown out the people that are actually fun to play with online. In the face of that, I have become much more appreciative of good single player gameplay and storytelling. (A la Bioshock, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Arkham Asylum, etc.)
Unfortunately, single player experiences are getting ridiculously short with ever increasing regularity which makes me actually purchase way fewer games... - w00tnot, on 11/10/2009, -8/+34***** MEDIOCRITY

- dagnabbit, on 11/10/2009, -8/+18I watched a guy on justin.tv streaming mw2 on his pc for a while today. He played for like 12 hours straight and said he never had any lag or problems. I watched the stream and never saw any lag. Host left once, migration to new host took about 5-8 seconds. Yes, it has cellphone bars instead of ping. All in his games were green.
I don't have the game, just reporting what I've seen. It definitely wasn't as good as dedicated servers, but didn't appear to be an apocalyptic disaster either. Looked fun, I'm almost afraid to admit. - Mudcrutch, on 11/10/2009, -0/+8Try out Torchlight. You will love it.

If you think 5-8 seconds is no big deal then you really need to stop playing games all together, it's unacceptable coming from a PC gaming world where that kind of thing never takes place.

Most people who review games will tell you the same thing, a 10 simply means it's one of, if not the best they have seen thus far in a respected category. No reviewer has ever claimed that a "10" means perfection, as that is impossible.

- antalich, on 11/10/2009, -1/+7I honestly don't agree with your assessment of what a perfect graphics score looks like. If a game greatly surpasses its peers and has a look that captures the gamer from end to end, it deserves a high score. I don't want all my games to look exactly like reality, the ability and possibility of abstraction that this generation of video gaming offers is what grabs me the most. Graphics are about being pleasing to the eye, certainly not being life-like. That's what windows are for, which I highly suggest all of you guys try every once in a while, our world is insanely beautiful, even in the ugliest of areas.
