The emotional attachment to the stories and characters is unmatched. I'm they can pull off another hit series, but it won't be the same. I hope CoD: MW can live up to it's predecessor

Sad state of affairs, but would be interesting to have your player on some mission wandering around a marketplace full of people and not knowing who of them (if any) may have some explosives strapped to his ass. Would add an incredible and terrifying dimension to the whole experience if done right.

- Morphinity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Expect this to be a different game. Call of Duty was a game that relied on full-out assaults, massive invasions, and tank and plane combat. Modern warfare doesn't have the combat of WWII. This game will be much different from everything we know and love.

Oh yeah, Nazi bad, Ally good. There were definitely no innocent German soldiers that fought in the war for much the same reason Americans did. This black and white mentality is a product of continued propaganda from the era. You make yourself look like a fool whose entire education of World War II came from video games that have no choice but to set you up as the good guy in order to avoid pesky morality on an issue that should really consider it - Hell, the game would be more powerful.

- cyrix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Thank you for the link, it's much appreciated. The low def trailer got me excited just from the voice overs, the sound effects, the actions scenes, everything. I mean watching some of those clips where some soldiers ran out into an open area and got gunned down gave me chills. Seeing the high def version just amplified all of that.

If you have equal teams with same odds, then its sport.
Players play as US, Arabs or the many other nationalities quite happily in the BF (and total conversion mod) games.
