- Biggestron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It is time for both PokerStars and FullTilt to employ the usual Washington fix - drop some money on the problem. While it does have some luck elements, online poker should not be in the same category as on-line roulette! There were carve-outs in the UIGEA bill for horse betting, which has a certain element of skill to it - why not poker?
- billrini, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The fact that these guys have cut back their US ad spending (due to fewer stations willing to accept ads) and haven't plowed that money back into lobbying efforts just speaks to the fact that they think players are lemmings who will follow them no matter what happens.
