Bluetooth error causing PS3 controller disconnects

short-media.com — Short-Media contributing author Mat Everett had repeated disconnects of his wireless PS3 controllers and no answers from Sony. After a bit of sleuthing, he turned up Bluetooth interference and was able to solve the problem. Is the problem limited to a few specific products?

  • sledgehammer70, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It is also an issue with the Nintendo Wii's WiFi, pretty annoying for the most part. I think Logitech needs to get their components in order.
  • coheedcollapse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd come to that conclusion months ago when I figured out every time I talked on my bluetooth headset I'd get controller errors once every hour or so.

    I never had any big problems though - it'd just suck in resistance every once and a while when the controller would get stuck and I'd run headfirst into an orgy of bullets with no apparent control.
